Mom joke incoming… maybe I’m loopy from packing lunches. 🤪 Maybe I was out of our usual foods. In any case, lunch turned orange and is guaranteed to get an epic eye roll. 🙄 The Grasshopper does not eat bananas. #WhatsForLunch#KnockKnock#CarbCount#SugarRushSurvivors
Montgomery T1D families and supporters, our #CampSealeHarris walk got rained out a few weeks ago, but now we have another chance! Saturday, April 16, 2 P.M--4 P.M. at the @ZooMannMuseum#DiabetesWALK Click the link to register! https://t.co/xt8YsCLyYA
Diabetes doesn’t stop for camping! This was Grasshopper’s first time changing his site at weekend camp with his troop. He applied it himself and quickly because he was in between Gaga Ball games. 😁 #Motivation#GoPlay#ScoutsBSA#BePrepared#SugarRushSurvivors
Grasshopper and I are at Children's of Alabama early today for an outpatient #surgery on his leg. Pancree the stuffed #pancreas made the trip with us. We’ve gotten some interesting looks from fellow travelers! 😂 I Heart Guts #oshatup#DrLatif#SugarRushSurvivors

Happy November! In honor of #DiabetesAwarenessMonth, I’m sharing a new post about Camp Seale Harris. Having a support team in this #T1D life is important. Camp registration has opened for 2023! Details in the post & to follow. https://t.co/ye4mqzMf7H
Holidays can be tricky for T1D caregivers. Do you carry on like before diagnosis? If you change something, what do you change? Here’s our take! #Halloween#TrickOrTreat#T1D#SugarRushSurvivors https://t.co/QuzGMeSA0m
Y’all, I can’t make this up. I thought I packed ALL THE THINGS for our weekend at Camp Seale Harris, but nope. I left Grasshopper’s low BG snacks & his insulin! We ran back home. Whether you are newly diagnosed or you’ve been in it longer, sometimes you forget important stuff.
Is grief recyclable? Everyone I meet is carrying something they wish they weren’t. I can’t fix it, but I hope that sharing my own #grief makes others feel less alone. Read here: https://t.co/oIRBd81sRb #Type1Diabetes#MentalHealth#SugarRushSurvivors
