The middle agents are brokering conversations between each other to my dot can talk to it's sub agent while the sub agent can talk to the more powerful sub agent. It's dumb and wasteful but all I have for now until you all fix these boundaries.
@thsottiaux The number one feature I need from dots is being able to spin up codex agents with the same permissions I can spin up OR dot can talk to the convos I make. Right now I have to dot -> their agent -> my agent -> powerful sub-agent to do the work.
@embirico Also it looks like WebGL is disabled on dots browser so I can't have it test most of my website without it using codex credits. Wow is that disappointing.
@embirico There are so many plugins that dots outright refuses to do when it works just fine in a ChatGPT session. To use those plugins you have to use a codex session so the whole "unlimited usage for a month" is artificially limited because the plugin system is nerfed.
It's fascinating because I consider last week's "Astra burn" a bug and feel like that bug cost me a reset I paid for. You all did the nice thing and reset people when you realized there was indeed a problem with updates last week - just somewhat feels like whiplash.
@thsottiaux is there anyway to describe how these resets work? I paid for a month of Pro 200 and it should have reset today, but because of the reset on Friday night it's not reset until next Saturday when I first invoked Codex on Saturday morning.
@thsottiaux Can't use it unfortunately. I left Claude on Sunday, used astra light all week on my pro plan and suddenly today my same repo burned over 80% and I'm out of usage for the week.
Unsure what is going on but I'm not the only one seeing this huge increase in drain.
I said I'd never open source another tool and yet here I am. If you manage SystemExtensions, specifically NetworkExtensions and care about their status, you'll like want to deploy this tool.

@emilyooo@bryson3gps@JamfSoftware Only thing I would recommend is to not use GitHub actions with tags ex "@v2" and instead use commits. Tags can be changed by the maintainer at any point and for third party actions (even if it's AWS) I wouldn't fully trust them.
Hey Devs!
Here is a great opportunity to work on Apple Device Management in our Cambridge Mass office.
NOTE - The NERD (New England Research and Dev) Center is (IMHO) the best MSFT work site!

Nate and I need testers on Apple Silicon and Intel

It's signed and notarized, including the entire python directory path.
If it looks good we will remove the pre release tag and cut a python 3.10x release next.
@tbridge777 What about the press releases on various outlets and the official blog post? The preview on the video is literally Nudge.
Surely someone, somewhere thought about this.
I don't want to get into it with you or your company publicly, but it feels somewhat disingenuous.
@foigus@JumpCloud Actually what would have been the minimum is if they had mentioned the use of open source products like the other macadmin paid tools in the past have.
The more I think about it the more annoyed I am.
The fine folks over at Apple have YET AGAIN broken the behavior of "softwareupdate" and impacted enterprise behavior that macadmins rely on.
I've now done the thing I said I would never do in the Nudge codebase. I'm not happy.
