I always see people venting about how slow it is to send comps to media encoder. I too have experienced this dreadful experience but I discovered that if you DRAG the comps from AE to ME they load in ME almost immediately.

Quicker than what I've been doing so far, which was to open Media Encoder BEFORE I sent a comp to it - that took it way down, but this is better 🙂

I figured it out though - turns out they were using the SC7 cable for iPhones 🙂

I got them to order an SC2 and now it works fine!

So either the SC7 doesn't work with cameras, or it was just a dodgy cable 🤗

I did a Facebook live about content repurposing on Feb 1st, during which I said I’d be repurposing that to show people exactly what I mean about being able to get loads of content out of a video
