I don’t understand when HGs on #BB28 say things like “we’re running out of people” (in reference to options for nominations) but…only TWO people have been eliminated so far. Like the whole house is still basically here what do you mean?
@willjames93 They saw the backlash over the twist that accidentally sent Rachel home and misinterpreted it as the fans requesting “rig the season for our favorite”.
@BBLoserRyan If HOH puts up all 3 icons at once and Devens uses veto on himself/puts up one of your own allies, while that’s a risk, if your ally wins blockbuster then there is a world where he both flushes the power and 2 icons are on the block (contingent on regular veto not being used).
@TaranArmstrong I want Taran to give us his take on if one of the icons makes it to the end, will the jurors hold it against them that they’ve appeared to have an easier path and think “I’m not voting for someone who had the game handed to them on a silver platter from day 1”.
@BrandonDonlon Btw I’m not anti-returnees. But they’re already in plenty good enough position to not need rigged levels of overpowered powers (which will end up making them resented by the newbies, who will later become jurors & might hold it against them that they’ve been handed an easy path).
@BrandonDonlon Now compare that to what the alleged other powers are by the time the newbies will finally have the possibility to win one. Calling it now that Dee wins the 50% chance coin flip to overthrow an HOH reign while the first newbie to win gets “never a have not pass”.
@BillyBiggs_ It’s almost like they knew there would be 3 icons win the fan vote who they wanted to keep safe with mega game changing impact and then after that they’d be forced to give 3 rookies something. Hence why 3 of these are way less overpowered than the other.
@TaranArmstrong While this level of rigged imbalance is disappointing, the silver lining will be if it gets the point across to future HGs that being an entertaining standout can pay dividends for future opportunity even if you don’t win your first season. So maybe we get less “safe” gameplay
@rbbq How is “never a have not” anywhere near on the same level of game impact as a 6-week Diamond veto where you also get to take away HOH’s power to rename the replacement? What’d BB do, make powers designated for icons and a “have not pass” for newbies when icons become ineligible?
@JoshPateCFB Wonder if/how Josh tries to distinguish between AI generated name suggestions and legit ones actually written by the fan (I feel sure that he’s trying to avoid an AI generated one..but what’s the stance on if it’s a toss up/hard to tell).
How does the 8-ball count as a prop that’s not allowed to be moved/hidden, but they think the bean bags are acceptable? (How is this any different). They also shoot down Drew’s idea of squirting toothpaste to where when someone leans over, it’d get on their shirt.
#BB28 live feeds. Can anyone confirm the following: during prank talks between Dee/Drew/Barrett, Drew suggests hiding the pool table’s 8-ball on someone’s bag. Dee says that counts as “moving props” (not allowed) making it not an option. But then they agree to hide corn hole bags
#BB28 live feeds: Sunday around 7:30ish pm. Dee and Barrett discuss who will want to gun for second HoH. From this discussion, we can gather that currently they are completely unaware of how badly Jason wants it (Jason of which is extremely anti-Devens, one of their allies).
@BBBitez Also a few minutes later…Rome has to have the term “backdoor” defined for him . Which is funny considering that’s 100% the move that will prob be most applicable to him as soon as he loses safety. Especially with a showmance (best to blindside than have 2 people gun for veto).
After 10 years of watching Big Brother without access to live feeds and having to rely on updates from those who do have them, I finally get to watch live feeds for the first time..and it’s all 4 cameras pointing to the same spot and every few mins it cuts to a cat? #BB28
@JoshPateCFB The more familiar with video games/EA you are, the more impressive this is. EA has received TONS of similar backlash over this same thing for YEARS across many different fandoms/gaming communities, and yet only the college football base was able to actually get a change made.
@taranarmstrong Impressively accurate how well the RHAP panel’s perception of the HGs seen in their draft order was able to clock who would most likely be in trouble, just from a few minutes of “Broveal” footage (Yash and Taylor picked at the end, and with some worry expressed for Mallory).
@BBLPERRY Americans are intentionally overhyping because they like the reaction it stirs in the rest of the world. It’s in jest and provokes, which they find amusing. As soon as USMNT stumbles, the rest of the world will celebrate while Americans shrug and go back to their day to day norm
