Since I've gotten 500+ DMs and people really need to do their own research... and since I've been SCREAMING this from the fucking skies for over 3 years... here is how transparency SHOULD be in the space:

I was the only member of the core, original SafeMoon team who was neither arrested nor on the run.

Why? Because I did not steal money and I didn't do anything that would cause me to get arrested. I never had access to LP, I was kept in the dark for the dark stuff (thank god)...

I bought my own SafeMoon on March 13, 2021, as a regular investor and joined the community. I am the only team member who bought their own tokens.

That’s how it all started for me. I loved the community. I helped grow it from 3,000 members to over 1,000,000+. I spent almost every waking hour bleeding SafeMoon from my veins in one way or another.

How I Joined SafeMoon and what I did:

On March 17, 2021, I was asked out of the Discord to help keep the website online and fix their Cloudflare settings. I was paid about $1,500 in tokens (~30B tokens at the time).

Two days later, on March 19, they asked me to build a new website since WordPress was giving them issues. I brought in my friend @JacobThaDev (since we made video games together) to help. They also asked for help moderating Discord, Reddit, and other community channels. I was paid about $9,000 (~90B tokens) for this work.

Then, on April 5, 2021, while I was playing video games, SafeMoon Dev (Kyle, the guy who deployed SafeMoon) sent me 252B tokens (worth $480,000 at the time) as an early birthday present. I thought nothing of it—everyone told me he bought his tokens. If only I had a time machine and knew then what I know now...

Toward the end of May 2021, I sold a decent amount of my tokens (diamond-handing all the way from a $1M market cap—not many people could have done that). I had a whole 0.2% price impact so I did not nuke the chart at all - there was over $100m in LP at the time.

The first thing I did after selling?
I paid for a kid in my town’s cancer treatment.

I made money, but I also tried to help so many people. Unfortunately, I got taken advantage of left and right. Money is great for security, but god does it change people.

To also continue with transparency: In June 2021, SafeMoon Dev (Kyle) launched a token called PiggyBank via PinkSale. All LP tokens were burned.
The idea was "SafeMoon without John"— so a bunch of people liked it. At the time, none of us knew Kyle was a bad actor.

I paid for some marketing, but the contract was poorly written and was broken, so the project flopped almost instantly. I sold $100,000 at the top (out of a bag that was worth $5M at its peak). Even though I only sold my initial investment—which is more than fair—I once told a group of people I’d try to put the money back in. Ultimately, I didn’t, and that was my only real f*ck-up. I should have just put it back in to avoid hurting people’s feelings. However, I burned all my remaining tokens as the project declined (worth $500K at the time) so that everyone else could exit safely instead of being dumped on.

I left SafeMoon in the first week of September 2021. I was used as a scapegoat for the failed wallet launch because they had to blame someone. The other mistake I made back then was also being an arrogant prick and drinking too much... Someone recorded me shitting on the ceo on discord (who was ultimately arrested for fraud and I was fucking right, fuck all of you who sent me death threats).

Year after I had left, FBI came to my house, I helped them with their case.

I got raped in lawyer fees for $300,000 from a class action that I was DISMISSED from because I wasn't the one who fucked everyone over.

The only interaction I had with SafeMoon after leaving?
On April 29, 2022, a mod messaged me asking me to transfer ownership of the SafeMoon Reddit page since they forgot to get it when I left (They figured it out almost a YEAR later...🤣) I immediately removed myself and gave it to them on May 2, 2022 when I saw the message.

Hard Lessons & Moving Forward:
In 2021, I was scammed out of $1.3M in a trading bot scheme. We all do dumb shit and learn the hard way.

But I learned more about people, crypto, and life than most in this space ever will.

Since SafeMoon:
- I’ve become a better person, a better husband, and a better developer.
- I took my own businesses seriously and built massive companies.
- I learned to take mistakes, grow from them, and move forward.

When this new @RealSafemoonCTO project launched, the team sent me 50% of the supply. Ask yourself: What would you do? I woke up and had millions in my wallet. I could have dumped for millions of dollars.

I didn’t. Because SafeMoon already fucked over enough people.

I've:
- Hosted countless giveaways
- Conduct hundreds of thousands in buybacks & burns.
- Locked 8.39% of supply while burning 41.01% of circulating tokens.
- Use all liquidity-generated fees to reinvest in the community through marketing, ads, and further buybacks & burns.
- Helped the CTO team that took over with advice and support.

That’s how projects SHOULD be run.
That’s how the original SafeMoon should have been handled.

About the New SafeMoon Relaunch:
This new safemoon launching is being launched from some crypto company that bought it from bankruptcy court... It's not me. It's not the guys who were arrested or anyone from the OG team afaik (god I hope not). I will never deploy a contract with the name "safemoon" in it.

I have an idea on what I think will happen... but I'll keep that to myself. I will not be buying it, that's all I'll say.

If I could go back and make a bigger difference and been able to stop it from happening, I would, but I can't. However, I can warn you and tell you to do your own research and tell everyone to be careful. Learn from past mistakes. 🩷
