THE PROP FIRM GAME IS RIGGED
PART 1: The Profitable Paradox:
We all know the stats: 95-97% of traders lose consistently. It’s no secret, the market is brutal and relentless and can chew up accounts faster than you can fund them.
Yet, hop on X or Instagram, and it’s a different story. Green charts. Big payouts. Influencers flexing their funded account profits, and easy setups.
Every single day.
Seems like everyone’s in the elite 3-5%, right? So why are you still bleeding cash, chasing resets, and second-guessing every trade? I hate to break it to you but it’s by design.
The paradox isn’t just a quirk; it’s a psychological trap. Social media doesn’t verify winners; it amplifies them. The flashy wins attract engagement, and the algorithms amplify their reach along with the affiliate codes these hustlers hawk at every opportunity.
And even worse, you help fund their whole operation with every purchase. These affiliates don’t even need to pay for their own accounts thanks to you and the rest of their followers. They can churn through accounts all they want and always have at least one green account to show each day.
You see, you’re not just trading against the market. You’re trading against a machine that feeds on your FOMO, doubt, and desperation. You see their wins, until the worm of comparison burrow's deep enough into your psyche, and suddenly you’re over-leveraging, revenge-trading, or dumping another $150 into a new account because “this time, it’ll work.”
Spoiler: It’s designed to keep you spinning in place bleeding money.
But here’s truth: You can break free. Not with another guru’s discord or another reset via some affiliate’s lucky code, but by mastering the two things they don’t want you to: your emotions and your plan. You need to stop looking outwards (at other’s results) and start looking within until you create your own.
Who’s gonna build a smart device that by design psyops you for positive energy
slept 2 hours? ~70% recovery.
6.5 hours sleep? 120%! You’re ready to rock let’s go!
You check your Apple Watch in the morning. Sleep score: 62. You decide it's going to be a foggy day. And then it is.
A 2014 Colorado College study suggests the score itself causes the fog.
164 people walked into a lab. Researchers hooked them up to fake EEG equipment and told them the readout would show their REM percentage from the night before. Then they fabricated a number. Half the room was told 28.7%. Half was told 16.2%. The machine wasn't measuring anything.
Participants took four cognitive tests. The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test, where you add numbers spoken at increasing speed and hold your last sum in working memory while computing the next. And the Controlled Oral Word Association Task, where you generate as many words as you can starting with a single letter under time pressure. Both are gold-standard measures of attention and executive function used in clinical neurology.
The 28.7% group outperformed the 16.2% group on both. Significantly. How rested participants actually felt that morning predicted nothing.
The mechanism is mindset priming an executive resource. When you believe you slept well, you allocate cognitive effort more aggressively. You don't conserve. You don't pre-disengage. Belief about the resource changes how you spend it.
Two control conditions ruled out demand characteristics. Participants weren't trying harder because they thought they should. Real measurable cognitive performance shifted with the number on the readout.
The Apple Watch sleep score. The Oura ring readiness number. The morning ritual of checking either one is taxing the resource you're about to need.
The performance gap from a fabricated REM percentage was larger than the gap from how rested participants actually felt. The number was louder than the night.
@TheOneLanceB@traderkane@thelab I don’t think the point so much is that it’s a free-money glitch but that It’s also not really worth the time and definitely not the money for your students who are giving you their money lol
@ICT_Concepts Chart Chanpions is TRAAAASH
Daniel is a classic discord group scammer, call the market both ways only show winners and make millions on subscribers
@TheQueenofKa It’s sad that besides the money cause some genuinely don’t need to do it for it that anymore they are just in it for validation and attention
So @lanto_trades has actually spent $300k+ in TPT eval fees alone, that is just one fucking firm. Where does this money come from? From the pockets of people paying for his discord thinking he's a good trader.
ANYONE spending that fucking much on a prop firm is not a good trader. I hope newer traders see shit like this and stay far away from people like this.
NO ONE is saying the ROI isn't good. It is. It's the modern day trading pyramid scheme that is the problem. That is a CLEAR pattern of yoloing account until they hit.
But nah, go on, he's a great trader.
@Hunt4Trades To be real that’s all any these guys who come on here and parade themselves do. If they were really on the level they pretend to be they wouldn’t gaf about showing it off and attracting an audience unless desperate for validation
