Here’s a video produced by “Led by Donkeys” out of the U.K. that puts down the timeline of how Musk used X to get Donald Trump elected. I would save it because I don’t think it will be up for long.
@GregAbbott_TX Ah, Come on! It’s not going to happen. Texans DON’T want you to funnel money to private, religious schools. Stop making us pay for extra sessions in an attempt to make your religious donors happy. #AbbottGoHome#FundQualityPublicEducation#txlege
@realChipEvans@EdKrassen Have you read Jefferson’s Bible? The literal author of our constitution had so many problems with the Bible, that he wrote his own version-taking our everything he disagreed with. SMH every time I hear someone talking about the “Christian” principles the US was founded upon.

Robert Card, the shooter in Maine, reportedly reported mental health issues, including “hearing voices."
He also reportedly threatened to shoot up the National Guard base.
Stop it with the 2nd Amendment argument. It doesn’t prohibit us from talking steps to stop this.
Why can’t we just have universal background checks?
Why can’t we require background checks on all sales of guns including all sold at gun shows?
Why can’t we regulate AR-15s and similar guns like we do machine guns and sawed-off shotguns?
Why can’t we fix our mental health issues in this country?
Why?
@CarrieIsaac Government has been telling people they must get vaccines since the 1960’s. It’s only now a problem for you now because you want to have something to squeal about.
This is for the young progressives out there. When I was a bit younger, I was terribly disappointed with then President Bill Clinton, who signed the hateful DOMA and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell into law. It seemed he had betrayed all of his values and the LGBTQ community that had helped get him elected. There was a part of me that said I would stand on principle and never vote for him again.
But then I remembered, voting isn’t about loving everything about your candidate. Voting for me is about making a strategic move that will best advance the cause of democracy, freedom and peace for all people, even if my candidate of choice really, really let me down.
I supported Bill Clinton for a second term, even though he had just signed DOMA into law, a law that said my love for my husband Brad was not enough to be legally recognized, not ever.
Candidates aren’t perfect. We shouldn’t ever expect them to agree with us always, even on the most basic of things. But we cast our votes as a prayer for them to do better because we know they can, and their hearts are in the right place.
Bill Clinton came around to supporting my community, without exception. It took time. We got there. So don’t waste your vote. Use it wisely, and make the decision, even if it’s hard, to back the best candidate for what the world needs, and to help prevent an utter catastrophe if, heaven forbid, the other one is elected.
You know what public school educators do in the course of their day?
They teach the TEKS - the curriculum mandated by the state. They complete mandated reading academies, STAAR prep, continuing education courses, and safety drills. They work to make sure that ALL students feel safe and equipped to learn, play, and explore. They try to squeeze in lunch and conference time to plan and build relationships with families.
Indoctrination? Sure, if you’re referring to the attempts to get kids to turn their homework in on time.
It’s time for those trying to sell the voucher plan that no one is buying to do so without slandering our educators.
This trustee is saying ENOUGH.
A mother, whose daughter was about to undergo brain surgery, reached out to the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood studio, requesting a signed photo. Upon learning of this, Mr. Rogers made a remarkable gesture - he flew to the hospital to visit her, with one simple condition: no media attention.
Before Beth Usher's surgery, a sizable box arrived, containing cassette tapes and memorabilia from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. These tapes provided comfort to Beth during her journey to the hospital.
On February 4, 1987, Beth underwent a lengthy 12-hour procedure to remove the left hemisphere of her brain. Initially, her condition seemed stable, but then an unexpected twist led to her slipping into a coma.
Weeks turned into months, and the concern for Beth's well-being grew. Amidst this difficult time, Mr. Rogers continued to offer support by calling the hospital daily to check on her progress. When he learned that she wasn't improving, he decided to pay her a visit.
For this visit, Mr. Rogers insisted on a private, press-free encounter. He flew from Pittsburgh to Baltimore, where a friend picked him up and took him to John Hopkins Hospital. There, he sat by Beth's side as she lay in her comatose state.
Beth's family and the nurses watched from the doorway as Mr. Rogers, known for his puppets, took them out from his case.
@WalshFreedom What strikes me is that Israel has the military capacity to turn all of Gaza into a glass-lined crater, yet it doesn’t. If Hamas had the same capacity Israel would already be gone.
The systems in Texas are broken and we suffer the consequences.

800 lives lost in the winter storm.
I am running against Ted Cruz because it's time we do something now.
