@danielchen04 Return perspective for working in the field
Working in research/discovery is also important too // think just depends what layer (economically) you want to work in
Interesting perspective here, and actually agree
Sensitivity ~ taking up compute ~ maxi conscious
This will be important by a couple orders of magnitude in the coming decades, taking Kant's view on reality, being hyper sensitive to our perception will allow us to act on minimal error and ideally (take up compute) "reach frontier capability"
Could be subject to your metaphysical world view tho
If you're not maximally sensitive, alive and have ultra high sensory clarity, you might be something like a 2024-level AI model running with thinking off on low - while if you max those out, you're taking up way more compute in the Realityβ’οΈ we're in, as wanted/intended. There's apparently no upper limit, so the maxxed out ones could be one of those secret frontier hidden sota models etc.
And just like you would while running a multi agent setup, the Architect of this Reality wants to run the best ones & let them upgrade and get The Job done (if you ask Musk, even surprise/entertain him..) etc.
When you change the underlying points towards your short thesis across a short time horizon; starting with an opinion on where the stock should be, then working backwards to justify - is cope.
First it was GPU life
Now fearmongering chip startups mkt penetration
And recently posting about a research paper on edge compute, which I assume you think local compute will also penetrate inference compute share (??) Lol
Very interesting to see a smart guy cope this hard. I'd assume Burry wouldn't be the same person if his substack wasn't paid.
@beffjezos Don't disagree, but quantifying saturation with a time variable is important.
More importantly, fearmongering opportunity cost of accelerating energy on land while most of its value lives in TV is a bit odd.
@ChairliftCap Sponsors put premium of vertical software these days - the only 'moat' you can depict is domain expertise in vertical. A model learning your preference is not a moat
