@momo5502 Indeed, but some set it per process for virutalized environments. Can also note that if enabling limiting CPUID in BIOS (usually the default) will prevent hyperguard from loading and the bit be set only when you start =P
@AdmVonSchneider Ah, fair enough. I just extracted the installer with 7-zip and just running the .jar worked fine. So I assumed that it might be some rarely used feature depending on it =P
@pcdev And yes, you can just patch the conditional jump at the end with no side-effects, but it does suggest that there's some larger underlying issue.
@pcdev Heads up, T7 and IW7 (most likely newer titles as well) get stuck polling ntoskrnl:KiCpuId for my Xeon processors on Windows7. Might be a problem for those that can't patch their binaries..
@splashdamage Just tried out Brink, but sadly it does not recognise Intel Xeon processors (or just any CPU with 20 cores + HT) and crashes in the CPU check. Here's a quick patch if others have the same problem: https://t.co/SMUBn5EOup
@Acer The ET430K monitor is quite nice as long as one doesn't try to display repeating pixels. #FF00FF and #00FF00 repeating over X =P

@mackwage So they'll finally fix the RCEs that been in the CoD base since MW2? Took the dedis getting leaked before 'steamauth' was patched even though multiple people had reported it over the years..
