Yes, it’s atrocious that only 7 companies hold up the market as of now. Their easy to spot because they all have Trillion dollar market caps. So as a regular investor you have to wonder, how much further realistically can a multi trillion dollar company go? Can it double or triple? Is that even normal? These companies are priced for perfection, so anything can topple it

Not this year but it’s potentially a plan they can do similar to what @TonyNashNerd and @amlivemon wrote about where I’m 2015 they bought a bunch of gold and eventually devalued their currency to keep their export trades competitive. Check out the read it’s really good.

I understand the pushback, but the narrative will probably change which I hear chatter already is, we (United States) have to be the leader in this space no exceptions. The revenues from the Mag 7 and their huge margins they make will help fund this endeavor I believe that’s what Trump dinner was about privately.

@vernon_sview Also, if this AI Boom is the real deal, this goes from a cyclical industry into a secular one and get re-rated due to all this energy demand. If the Mag 7 want to drop 500B+ annually in AI CapEx, the energy industry will get some exposure to that money

I feel like producers are going to be caught in a price tug-of-war cuz now domestic prices are low (causing oversupply) but now LNG exports and AI-driven power demand are just starting to ramp.

Until those two forces balance, upstream producers are trapped in a margin squeeze which is plenty of long-term promise, but short-term pain.

Infrastructure players like the stocks I mentioned, however, get paid either way — they move the molecules whether gas is $2 or $8.

Yes there’s some concerns if US possibly restricting exports of LNG, but Biden Administration paused export approvals he didn’t revoke them that gives “soft restriction” vibes plus most of the big LNG capacity through 2028 is already permitted and under construction (Cheniere, Venture Global, NextDecade, Sempra, etc.).
That means even if future projects are paused, the existing buildout still happens and that’s where the investable opportunity lies.

I totally agree with you. The shiny objects is the AI GPUs everyone wants to be a part of…especially after that $AMD run up everyone’s looking for the next AI call option play…nobody is looking at the real boom which is energy where the need for power to unleash AI of its full capabilities is needed.
