I sometimes wonder if I asked my friends who aren’t into/don’t have bitcoin if they’d rather have 2 bitcoin or $100,000 cash what’d they pick. I’m confident some of them would just take $100,000.

And then if I said “you have to hold the 2 bitcoin for 2 years” I’m so confident that the majority of those friends would take the $100,000.

That blows my mind. We’re still early.

@worstgeneD I understand..but I’m saying my friends might not have any idea how much BTC is worth. Nor would they want to hold it for 2 years even though we all expect the bull market top in 2028-29

@Create_Profit I’ll challenge this. My wife and I make 175k a year combined. Certainly not poverty. We max out our Roth IRAs. $15000 total per year. $625 each a month. And yea, that’ll be a nice part of our retirement fund. What’s wrong for planning for the future with gains that grow tax free?

One of my portfolios was -3.60% at 8:55am. Currently I’m +0.60%. What a wild turnaround. I can’t remember a day I’ve had that big of difference between the low and high while the market is open!
