Those struggling financially due to losing earnings through Covid-19, should speak to their adviser/support worker/social worker in the 1st instance, or phone 07843 766054, or to find out what's available within the community call 01492 575544, to access financial help with food.

In conjunction with Golygfa Gwydyr Llanrwst & the Family Centre, Conwy Valley Rotary have been supporting families & individuals, who through the current Covid-19 pandemic find themselves in food hardship. The support network has now been extended to the whole of Rural Conwy 1/3
@Rotary1180@golygfagwydyr Thanks for the mention - we were aproached by someone helping people in need due to the local food bank closing and within a day or so had the scheme up and running with the support of local businesses and organisations. Rotary in Action :)

There is an alternative scheme for Betws Y Coed and other villages in that direction at Blaenau Ffestiniog food bank.

We would like to thank those local shops (Spar, Co-op, Metcalfe Butchers, OE Jones Butchers, Skilicorns and the Health Food Shop in Llanrwst for supporting the scheme by donating goods or agreeing to accept the vouchers.

Conwy Valley Rotary Club, Golygfa Gwydyr and Nant Conwy Rugby club are working together with some of the local shops in Llanrwst to provide short term basic essentials for people living in LL26 and LL27 who are affected by the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus. 1/4

Save the date! The Llanrwst Gala is changing its name to Rotary Rocks 2020. It is also moving the date its held from the traditional 1st Sunday in July to the 1st and 2nd of August (Saturday & Sunday). More details will be announced soon.
