No, it's thought to be the world's first 'Jet Suit paramedic'! 🚀
In a trial run near Bowfell in the Lake District by the @GNairambulance & @takeonGravity, a casualty site was reached in just 90 seconds...it would've taken 25 mins on foot!

It’s an invigorating time to be outdoors with the fresh, cool air, the crunching of leaves underfoot and the kaleidoscope of colour all around.
Astronomically speaking, today is the first day of autumn in the UK... a time for crunching through golden, ankle-deep leafage on misty mornings.
What seasonal small joys on foot are you looking forward to most?

Lovely to see Devil's-bit Scabious (Succisa Pratensis) still in the meadows. It was used as a dye, a seasoning, a tea & a herbal remedy for the plague & scabies (hence its name). Bees love it too. Apparently the Devil got so annoyed by the plants usefulness he bit the roots off!
It's #RedSquirrelAwarenessWeek! Red squirrels are native to the UK but are a lot rarer than their grey cousins. They live in a few special places across the UK thanks to reintroduction projects. 🧡
