@thecourteeners Hi Guys, we sadly lost our best mate James suddenly last year, completely out of the blue. Music was a massive part of his life and some of our best memories with him were travelling to gigs and festivals together over the years. He absolutely loved Courteeners and had seen you live many times over the years. He loved live music, loved being around his mates, and some of his happiest times were spent at gigs and festivals.
Kendal Calling was a huge part of his life and he had been every single year for as long as we can remember. The fact he won’t be there with us this year is hugely upsetting for all of us going and it just won’t feel the same without him.
James also proudly served his community as a firefighter for nearly 20 years.
We’re holding a memorial day in his honour, with all money raised going to a charity chosen by his wife & daughters. We’d be hugely grateful for any memorabilia, signed items, or support for our raffle or auction. It would genuinely mean the world to us and help make the day extra special ❤️🎶
