Everyone loves bringing their dog to the park! But guess what? NO ONE loves stepping in 💩

If you bring your dog to one of our city parks, PLEASE clean up after them! We have pet waste stations at Dogwood Park and Cane Creek Park with waste-disposal bags and trash bins.

We ask that all pet owners anticipate the needs of their pets when coming to a city park. Bring waste disposal bags, familiarize yourself with the location of waste disposal stations, and dispose of waste in one of the trash bins located throughout our parks.

The fountain at Dogwood Park is closed for essential repairs. Effective immediately, pedestrian barricades have been erected around the fountain area. Repairs should begin before the end of this week. The timeline for restoration is currently unknown.

The spring/summer mowing season begins soon. We ask that all flowers and arrangements placed on the ground at the City Cemetery be removed before March 15.

After March 15, all flowers and arrangements still on the ground will be disposed of by Cemetery Grounds Staff. Thank you!

Winter #trout restock! 🐟

Bring your fishing gear and cast a line! 1,500 trout were released into the lake at Cane Creek Park this morning. More trout will be release on Jan. 17.

Anglers over the age of 12 must have their #fishing license to fish at Cane Creek Park.

Free visits with Santa start this Friday at Dogwood Park!🎅
Bring your child for a free visit with jolly ol' Saint Nick. He and his elves have turned the Dogwood Performance Pavilion into the North Pole! He'll be there this Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 3-6 p.m!

The #Cookeville Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration is this Sunday at 6 p.m. at Dogwood Park! Come see the 40-foot #Christmas Tree light up the night! Musical performances by Jake Hoot, the #TTU Trombone Choir, and local school choruses.
