Today, August 29, 2026 (approx. 01:35 UTC), the X account @realtrumpcoins1 - a verified merchandise partner of the Trump Organization that sells official Trump collectible coins and medals, and is followed by @realDonaldTrump - posted a tweet launching "Trump Digital Gold" on Solana.

The token pumped to a ~$60M market cap within under 2 hours, then dumped 95-99% in a single minute with straight red candle. You know how to call it.

Our database captured the original promotional tweet before it was deleted:

"Introducing Trump Digital GOLD! It's time to redefine what DIGITAL GOLD means. Join us in this NEW ERA of digital finance! GET YOUR $GOLD NOW"

The family built their wealth on their exit liquidity supporters. A week ago @EricTrump posted that they weren't launching any kind of coin.

Not saying anything, but this looks like they knew 👀

Was it actually hacked? No confirmation either direction so far.

two of the biggest companies on earth got hacked in one night and both got used to shill a memecoin. you've heard it right.

Pokemon's (@Pokemon) official account got hacked right before Worlds 2026, on the 30th anniversary, and posted a https://t.co/nWfGnGCf7R coin.

Nvidia (@nvidia) got hacked the same night. a $200+ stock, and the account posted a cat coin LMAO.

the Nvidia hacker had the keys to move billions in the market and chose to farm ~$600K on a cat instead (per @0xRiver8).

this is where crypto is in 2026. you can hijack a trillion-dollar company's account and earn breadcrumbs.

CT is basically frozen right now waiting on one speech. Kevin Warsh, first Jackson Hole as Fed chair, and everyone's positioned around what he says.

the macro guys can't agree. @jam_croissant thinks Warsh ends up siding with Druckenmiller that rates should come down. @PeterSchiff (1.7M) is the other way: "M2 has increased by .9%. That's an annualized rate of over 6%. Machi Big Brother (@machibigbrother) offered $1M to buy FriendTech, the dead SocialFi app from 2023, and CTO relaunch it. that tweet did 151 signal, his highest in 90 days, off a $300k market cap project nobody had thought about in a year.

$FRIEND went from $300k to almost $10M market cap within the hour. 33x.

then Lookonchain showed the other half. Machi's sitting on 11M FRIEND he bought for ~$16M back in the day, his biggest underwater bag. 5 days before the offer he moved all of it to a fresh wallet, and picked up more FRIEND right before the announcement. make of that what you want.

the highest-signal post on CT in the last 90 days... was Jesse Pollak (@jessepollak), the guy who built Base, saying he was wrong.

July 15 he posted that crypto adoption comes through onchain social and creator coins, was "definitively wrong." prediction markets, perps and stablecoins won instead. called Q1 a punch in the face and gave the Base app to @cobie.

that post did 2,446 signal and 2.1M impressions. that's 9x his next best tweet and one of the biggest single posts on CT all year.

nobody on CT ever says they're wrong. this guy runs one of the biggest chains in crypto and just said he fucked up.
