@robinmmorrison Hate it! The wholeNW quadrant of sky is blanked out for us at Westport by it, and depending on cloud density and height, the reflected light is almost equivalent to pale moonlight..why isn't their lights shrouded or under lampshades throwing it down to the plants where wanted ???
@axbridge_birder Still got two pairs somewhere - they were so heavy I had a complicated shoulder harness else I'd end up with a raging headache - bought em s/hand for £60 in Bath around 1982...
@KearsneyBirder@PortlandBirdObs With a heavy lens I have enough to carry, can see what I need through it, and take a photo if I want - why carry bins as well - no brainer...
@GuyCampbell14 Hi Guy, remember I mentioned a dark bird that went past through the storm at the Bill - Great Skua ! If I had looked left I could have photographed it coming... cheers
@alicksimmons @JWentomologist @SAR_marine @JLowenWildlife Love to see one here - saw just one in Turkey but couldn't get the topside on camera from where I was...
@JulianThomas19@NorthNorfolkDC Just as well spray any nettles, brambles, and thorn bushes within two yards of footpaths in case people jump into them...
@lizardschwartz They are addicted to that plant - Creeping Comfrey. Have a patch of it by the back door - loads of Hairy-foots and 100's of Scarlet Tiger moth caterpillars, every year !
