Chess Grandmaster Hikaru just spent 67 minutes thinking about one move in a pro tournament, the second longest turn ever.
After all that time, it was still the wrong move and cost him the game.
@rizza_X0 talking about it is one thing
but she’s gained like 100 million Instagram followers since then and has gone on multiple world tours lmao. it didn’t hinder her career at all
Stocks are a balance of athleticism/awareness. Jokic and Luka are masterful at stocks. Game sense cracked to the ceiling for them. No one like wemby, it’s more athleticism but still needs IQ.
IQ and game sense can be taught. Jumping ten more inches and being twitchy as fuck cannot.
@v8der1@JMannsTakes didn’t argue iq isn’t part of genetics
But one nigga can jump 40 inches one can jump 30. Genetics
I watched Duke and I saw what I saw. Time will tell I guess. He’s a pretty interesting prospect
he’s good at them now because his defenders being switched onto are college kids, not grown men that are the best athletes in the world.
“Processing” and it’s him backing down a 6’1 unathletic guard while the rest of the defense stares and waits for him to score.
Stephon Castle coming from the other side and beating that shit in the league😭😭
He can still be effective in the league but his ceiling is way lower than AJ/Caleb Wilson and it’s not even really his fault. Genetics baby lol
don’t get me wrong. I’m not arguing boozer isn’t skilled or that he can’t be a talented player in the league.
Boozer can shoot well when wide open, but he has a slow release and most of his shots are completely set in a well run offense.
The NBA is based on getting your own shot. The stars that elevate rosters are all three level attackers with fluid handling.
I just argue that AJs stats are good enough in college to show a floor. And that his ceiling is worth the chance of getting his floor. His ceiling (imo) is exceptionally higher. Shot creation + Athleticism is the recipe to becoming a star. Boozers peak to me looks like Sabonis with a better three (won’t be able to get it off comfortably like he does now). AJs is prime PG13 (hopefully a bit better in the playoffs lol)
