So because EA announced the game and wasn’t really prepared to get started 2K took advantage of some lack luster plans they had in mind and stepped on those immediately. The schools really power 4 are to blame for not waiting and getting the EA proposal. Which is upsetting.
The schools are the ones owing us an apology lol. All of the big schools were contacted by 2K hence it being only 100+ (estimated around 110) while EA was making contact to every school and going about it surely the same way they did for football.
2K’s plan for a college basketball game:
• CBB added into NBA 2K (not a standalone CBB game)
• Schools begin getting added to the game in 2026
• 100+ schools featured (far from the 361 teams in D1)
EA… we owe you an apology.
And while they were sending out contracts to all of these schools for a college basketball game 2K honed in on the smaller quantity they had in mind. Started sending the contracts and those schools started accepting 2K’s offer before EA could likely get them a proposal made.
Reaction to Stephen Colbert getting fired by CBS. It takes a special type of arrogance to be making 16 million, losing 40 million and publicly bash the people paying your bills.

Time to set the record straight on Indiana
The Hoosiers have 2 losses on the season-Ohio State & Notre Dame.. The two teams in the National Title Game.
Yes, they went to Columbus and lost by 23. Ohio State also beat Tennessee by 25, and Oregon by 20…
Their 10 point loss to Notre Dame in the CFP first round looked bad at the time, BUT looking back there has only been 1 closer CFP game (Notre Dame vs Penn St)
Indiana had a great season and deserved to be in the playoff. Anyone who says otherwise is WRONG.
