Just back from the Philippines. One of the most exciting digital asset markets in SEA right now, jumping to 4th globally in TRM Labs' Country Crypto Adoption Index.
Their regulators get it. Collaborative, forward-thinking, focused on outcomes: consumer protection, innovation, growth. Rare combo.
Met great people at the Department of Finance including Secretary Frederick Go, the SEC’s Chairman Francis Lim, and the BlockShoals team. Real conversations about where the industry is heading.
Big one: the SEC's PhiliFintech Innovation Office just gave BlockShoals in-principle approval under StratBox. This is what good regulation looks like. Build pathways, not walls. Programs like that signal that the Philippines is serious. Confidence attracts capital. Capital funds innovation. Flywheel starts here.
Bullish on the Philippines. And crypto - buying the dip. More soon. 🇵🇭

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

People in the SEC, PSE, and BSP should watch this.

BREAKING: Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos said there's a “distinct possibility" planes may be grounded due to a jet fuel shortage caused by the war on Iran, Bloomberg reported.
🧵IS THERE MORE TO THE “RAZON MOVE” THAN MEETS THE EYE?
They say in business and politics, there are no coincidences; only perfect timing.
Lately, I’ve been following the Iran -US/Israel war.
While the headlines are dominated by the tension in the Middle East and the fragility of the Strait of Hormuz, our very own Enrique Razon — now officially the wealthiest Filipino — is quietly making moves half a world away:
His Prime Infra just stepped into Colombia and acquired SierraCol Energy.

I'm not going to interview Ryan Cohen today. Ryan is working on something monumental, and he would not be able to say much. We both agreed that "I cannot answer that on advice of counsel" is the last thing anyone wants to hear. I'm on pins and needles like everyone else. Hope to have news and the interview soon. @ryancohen $GME
FAKE NEWS ALERT 🚨
The EDCA sites have nothing to do with trade or tariffs. They’re part of a separate treaty, which gives the U.S. rotational access to select Philippine-owned military bases for joint defense and disaster response.
Now on tariffs: the Philippines already enjoys 0% tariffs on over 5,000 export products to the U.S. under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), in case you’re not aware.
Mali ang sabihin na “All tariffs will be removed for Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia.” That’s not even what the news says. Headline lang ba binabasa mo?
The supposed “0% tariffs” for these countries apply only to specific sectors and products. NOT ALL GOODS.
✳️ Malaysia: aerospace, pharma, palm oil, cocoa, rubber
✳️ Thailand: limited agri/industrial goods (details pending)
✳️ Cambodia: select textiles and farm exports
So, no, BBM wasn’t “snubbed.”
The EDCA is about defense, not commerce. Why is that even mentioned? LOL.
Half-truths make good propaganda, and the DDS are very good at twisting facts. Makapanira lang.
