Deutschland ist in der längsten Wirtschaftskrise seit Bestehen der Bundesrepublik.

Drei Punkte, bei denen wir unsere Einstellung als Gesellschaft komplett drehen müssen:

1.) Milliardäre und Multi-Millionäre

Je besser es den Reichen im Land geht, desto besser geht es dem ganzen Land.

Die komplette Gesellschaft profitiert.

Ein Milliardär, der aufgrund von Investitionsanreizen 500 neue Wohnungen in München baut, schafft Arbeitsplätze, generiert Steuereinnahmen und nimmt Druck vom angespannten Immobilienmarkt.

Wandert er aus oder investiert er lieber im Ausland, sieht Deutschland keinen Cent von seinem Wohlstand.

Absoluter No-Brainer. Und doch wird Reichtum in Deutschland nach wie vor als negativ angesehen.

Homeownership is way more comfortable than seeing a temporary 30-50% minus on your net worth in every 8-10 years. That's for sure

Two possible choices: 1. Rent+ invest (mainly stocks, ETF)- rent (monthly minus) debt free but missing leverage (long term CARG 8-10%) 2. Mortgage debt , no rent expense, most likely not much left for equity. (long term CARG 2-3%) for US possibly heavier tax than others

For those who will say house prices moved higher than to 3% in the last 10 years. Please check how much grew sp500 ( including dividends, so not just the index but an accumulating ETF)

Investment context: dividend bros, gold shillers, "real estate is the best investment", "BTC will replace USD" , "there's no better investment strategy than DCA to an ETF". i can keep going 🥲

In the end people are not aiming for good returns, they're after "peace" of mind or shiny stuff. That's why they will follow the "norm", they will buy the large apartment, cool car, a second house.

He's one of the smartest people I know. Definitely smarter than me. Yet I couldn't explain to him that 8 to 10% growth wily surpass 1 to 0% growth. And he is diversified to real estate already. The only logical explanation is emotions 🥲
