We are happy to report that we introduced Kindergarten students to over 24 vegan snack options last school year. Here is a look at their food wall by the end of our program! It is so satisfying to know how much we have expanded the culinary horizons of many of the students!
During our Cool School Food lesson, students in Queens experienced a new vegan menu item, Chickpea Shawarma. They learned about the culture this food is inspired by and tasted it before enjoying it at lunch. Thumbs up and smiles all around.
