You can look up statistics about this, if you have an “ethnic” name you get less call backs for jobs, black people take longer to be treated in the ER. White people have problems but it’s almost never about race. That’s the issue

My family is from Jamaica so I don’t have a connection to slavery like other black Americans but I can see where inequalities are & I grew up upper middle class

A leg up for a community that has been disadvantaged is not a slight against white people. It’s a step towards equality

@JMac894710 @Aliceshaw25 I agree. It has gone up but I think this is a much bigger conversation as to why. I don’t think it’s simply because they like Trump. But I do think that democrats have gotten too comfortable with the black vote and not doing enough for them as a whole.

When democrats play into the issues of different groups you have to understand that the vast majority of policies have benefited the white community even if not said directly
