I subscribed to Grok Premium with the promise of priority access and fewer limits.

Now, after plan changes in 2025, I’m hitting restrictions that weren’t part of the deal. Seems random and not tied to any particular spikes in usage. I can go to another window and the message limit goes away. I thinks it's triggered by the need to upsell you.

Feels like a bait‑and‑switch: features moved to higher tiers, while Premium users are left with caps.
If xAI wants loyal subscribers, they need to honor the commitments made when we signed up — not quietly downgrade the value of existing plans.

Here's a talking point.
The DOJ is waling back key evidence that Trump cited to send in more troops to Portland.

In a letter to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Andrew Bernie, a DOJ attorney, said the Trump administration made several “errors” in describing how many special law enforcement officers it sent to Portland in response to protests outside of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in the city.

Attempting to prove that Trump had the authority to send troops into the city, government officials claimed 115 Federal Protection Service (FPS) officers were ordered to the city between June and September. The number represented nearly a “quarter” of the whole FPS force that protects federal facilities and employees, the government claimed in court filings.

In oral arguments and court filings, the DOJ repeatedly argued that this major reallocation of FPS officers indicated that Trump was unable to enforce federal law in Portland with regular forces and was therefore justified in calling up around 200 Oregon National Guard troops in September.

The number of FPS officials allegedly sent to Portland was a key piece that a Ninth Circuit panel relied on in determining last week that Trump had the authority to  federalize and deploy Guard troops to the city.

Oregon and Portland asserted in a letter to the panel last week that the Trump administration greatly misrepresented how many FPS officers it sent. They said evidence obtained in discovery indicated that the number of FPS officers in Portland never surpassed 31 at any time.

Again, I wasn’t condoning murder.
But apparently, the only lives that truly matter are the ones that support Trump.

So let me recap. Here’s my original post.

Jay and patriot prayer and other groups like the proud boys showed up for this rally in Portland with 600 vehicles mostly large trucks jacked up. These are the trucks that can be seen all over Portland. Generally driving aggressively laid in with American and trunk flags. I’ve even seen them coal roll people standing on the side of the road.

According to the official police report, Jay was writing in the back of one of these trucks, armed with bear mace.

Jay was shot and killed, and the assailant was lighter shot and killed by the police. I referenced both of their death to FAFO. I didn’t single out Jay. They were both being dumbasses.

I also said I don’t condone violence and destruction and I hate it just as much as everybody else.

For the record, this was five years ago in 2020. The right wing MAGA showed up in Portland and this is the first time a life was lost.

This was all a trial run for what is happening now

However, Portland is not the same city. It was five years ago.

We are climbing our way back from a dark and difficult time in our cities history. I have lived here since I was an infant and I grew up in Portland. I’ve seen many changes. I’ve seen ebbs and flows.

When Trump got reelected, I feared that he would try to send in troops again. The problem is, the protests were not violent enough for him. We didn’t have a body count yet so he needed to create a false narrative that Portland was burning to the ground, and it was war ravaged.

So with very little evidence, the campaign against Portland began on September 27 2025

And then came to social media influencers. And all they needed was a little push in the right direction, a burning flag. And here we are.

But as we saw on October 18, when 7 million people came out and marched against Trump’s overreach with no arrest or violence it destroyed Trump’s narrative.

And there was Fox News out there, changing the narrative to what… we are all crazy and stupid and silly.

Fine. But we are not burning our city to the ground. If Trump wants to start a war with Portland, it will be more than the end of our city.

It will be the end of our country, or democracy, our constitution, and our bill of rights

I don’t think you live here because if you did then you would know the only place where there’s been any protest this year was at the ice facility.

Not at the federal building

Not at the federal courthouse

Not at any of the other buildings around Portland.

And all this shit blew up again after Trump again has promised to send in more troops.

This isn’t about protecting Portland, which is ranked 35th in the nation in violent crime

This is about photo ops and distractions. The fact that we have a gay governor checks his boxes.

I do recall it after I looked into it but it obviously it’s pretty low on my radar.

If you have a connection to it, then I certainly understand why you would remember it. It certainly was not the only case of somebody being attacked based on their religious ideology or connections. That is a ridiculous thing to say.

Jay was in the back of a pick up truck along with hundreds of other pick up trucks that came into Portland to stir up shit and he did have a can of bear mace.

Maybe he was just coming down to go to Jake’s for some tasty crawfish and he wanted to make sure that he was safe in case of a bear attack?
