A 23-year-old man, Bandile Ndlozi, appeared before the Newcastle Magistrate's Court in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday after being arrested for allegedly using fraudulent documents to purchase a Ford Raptor worth approximately R2 million.
According to reports, Ndlozi allegedly submitted a fake payslip and falsified bank statements to qualify for vehicle finance despite not being employed.
It is further alleged that he created the documents himself and even listed the telephone number of the company where his stepmother works, making it appear as though she was employed by the company used in the application.
The alleged fraud was uncovered after the bank became suspicious when the first instalment was not paid. The matter was reported to the police, leading to his arrest.
Ndlozi was granted R20,000 bail, and the case is expected to continue in court as investigations proceed.

On Tuesday night, whilst at work, the officer in the video came to my workplace accompanied by my ex (Vanessa Mnisi) and her mom to deliver a protection order.
During this interaction, the officer in question started attacking me by slapping and punching me, throwing my phone on the floor, and pointing a firearm at me. When I attempted to restrain him from assaulting me in front of staff members and patients, security intervened. The officer then said he was arresting me, and I obliged to being handcuffed.
The officer began dragging me around and assaulting me whilst taking me to the van in front of fellow staff members and patients.
I was taken to Sandringham Police Station, where I was allegedly assaulted by the same police officer, Sgt Nkuna, in front of his colleagues. I was repeatedly punched, pepper-sprayed five times whilst in handcuffs, and kicked repeatedly in the hand.
I was then transferred to Norwood Police Station, where paperwork was completed. Due to my injuries, I required medical attention and was taken to Alex Clinic. During this time, I was cuffed on both my hands and legs.
I was subsequently taken back to Norwood Police Station and remained in custody until today.
My case was taken to Westgate for my court appearance. When we arrived, the dockets were rejected, with officials stating that I had to appear in Hillbrow instead, which I did.
I am currently on my way to Sun City. I am injured and confused. I believe there is foul play in my case, and I am kindly requesting anyone who can assist. 📷📷📷

Let's not pretend the work is done. Not even a quarter of the illegal immigrants in South Africa have left. There is still much more that needs to be done.
Dr. Groenewald says technical schools and trade schools that were closed by Thabo Mbeki should be reopened.
Woodwork, Agriculture, Home Economics, Plumbing, and Electrical Wiring should be restored in public schools, similar to how they were offered before 1994.
Support South African businesses. If their loaf is R1 more than the illegal alien price, that’s because a South African doesn’t run illegal factories to sell you fake food. They order from reputable manufacturers- production has a cost, supply requires money too. Support SA. 🇿🇦
