@silverfoxgamr Same thing here, however I do agree that this model does not belong on PC. Mobile, sure. But there are other ways to monetize the game then what they are currently doing
PC players are open to spending money on battle passes. Cosmetics all the way, but buying gear, nah
Its complex yet light and respects your time.
Guess what I'm trying to say is that us Dad gamers still want those complex competitive games, but we want them in a more digestible manner.

Rewind back a year to when my son was a newborn.
I took the late shift so the Mrs could sleep. In order to keep myself awake I picked up Darktide. Great game but at that point in time it took FOREVER to max level a character which left me bored of the grind
Casual fun co-op shooter itch scratched, I wanted something more
Then I stumbled on @ArenaBreakoutPC. Always was a Tarkov fan, but my god the grind and commitment to it always turned me away after playing it for a bit on and off again. Arena, is Tarkov for Dads.

Thinking back to when I was in High School, Modern Warfare 2 had just come out and the thought of being able to plug 40hrs+ into a game a week is so foreign of a concept now its almost alien. Now if I'm lucky Im able to play 2 hrs a night
