I know nothing about the facts of either tragic case. I can well see how recovered social media evidence, eg, may have supported these decisions.

He suffered terrible injuries & woke up in hospital with no recollections. A seemingly independent witness falsely blamed him. Tried for causing death by dangerous driving. These things happen.

@bbclaurak Not sure why you @bbcnickrobinson & @BBCr4today don’t report deaths per million rather than simple deaths? Why eg is Belgium (pop 1/6 of UK) doing so badly? Will Sweden now see huge spikes (no lockdown)? I fear UK may see new hosp deaths peak today but could then decline slowly.

@FMStuckers @bbc5live UK population 67m. Multiply by your guess .001% = 670. Yesterday UK had 11,658 known cases (.0174% of population) & 578 had died. UK not testing much so 11,658 = tip of iceberg. If fatality rate = c. 1.5% (cf S. Korea) UK has 40k+ cases, rising very fast. Stick to stuff you know!

@davidallengreen @BarristerSecret On the Midland Circuit, many Crown Courts provide jurors & advocates with clear plastic beakers for drinking water. Typically washed by hand, often by court ushers, at the end of the court day. Major health risk, DO NOT USE. Solution: new glasses, to be dishwashed at 70 degrees.
