🚨 I was pulled over just now by these traffice officers on the N1 on my from my farm to Bloemfontein.🚨
The male officer informed me that my drivers license expired a week ago and that he is going to take my car keys to prevent me from driving any further.
I told him he must write me a ticket because I have 3 kids in the car and cannot be without my car, and that I am going to call my husband to come assit me, because he is not being reasonable.
He then tried to take my car's keys and my telephone and I closed my window so fast because he was getting aggressive. I told him that he cannot do what he is doing, and he said he can do anything he wants to, because he is an officer of the law and not me.
He started writing the ticket and then went to his car to call a female officer. On her arrival I opened my window again to talk to her and just as the conversation went a bit south, she put her arm through the open window and slapped me through my face twice.
I struggled to close my window with her arm halfway through it to get another slap at me, and was so shocked! She called me a fucking white person and said that they are not scared of me and she will hit me when and if I get out of my car.
I sat there while they shouted at me over and over that they are not scared of me and they will show me that I am not above the law. It looked like he was taking pictures of me and my car?? To do what with? To harass me on the roads?? I shouted at them that I will lay charges of assault against her, and she said I can go ahead.
My husband arrived and this is a video of their attitudes. We were advised by a police officer of Glen that we must go to the station - we will be helped there with the charges and with my statement.
At the police station the 1 officer and the captain started yelling at us to keep quiet, because we must not tell them how to do their jobs and they want to listen to the officers.
After about 20 minutes we had to leave, because the police was not interested in taking the traffic officers names or to have my statement, because they "have to take the traffic officers' statements first to hear what they have to say and then they will take time to listen to us".
I told the police captain that I was just slapped twice through my face by an officer in front of a 12 year old, 11 year old and a 10 year old who are now so scared of a traffic officer and that I want to lay a charge. And she just said she does not need to take any statements from me and I must stop telling her what she must do.
Even Botha realized that there is absolutely NOTHING to be done and we better leave before we get arrested for trying to speak!!!!! If you open your mouth, you get shouted at in Sotho by police officials!!!!
I cannot even lay a charge at a police station, because they say they don't have to hear anything I have to say and that the traffic officer says she will never do something like that!!!!!Now here I am.
What the hell!!! Go back tomorrow to just get another useless SAPS officer? And get pulled over by the same people obviously now going to target me, as this is the road I have to drive to the city?
PLEASE SHARE that their faces and this absurdness can spread as far and wide ⁉️
🚨 SOUTH AFRICANS, WAKE UP 🇿🇦
“We Buy Cars” is straight-up robbing us blind ‼️
Took my 2021 Hilux to them last week. Trade-in value R420k, their “expert” offered R295k. "Cash in 30 mins they said", yeah, cash for their new yacht‼️I sold my bakkie privately for R410k within 4 days of advertising it privately.
They prey on desperate sellers with their fancy ads and “we’ll beat any offer” lies‼️
Don’t get scammed like the rest of us. Sell your vehicle privately‼️
If you've been scammed by WeBuyCars too, tell us your story, so we can warn others before they fall into the same trap‼️

It’s ridiculous that Anushka Bogdanov, having fraudulently represented that she has a PHD from London Business School, would assume the role of Ethics chair of a listed company. She should be banned from assuming any fiduciary position at any company.

It’s incredible how quickly the narrative shifts when you choose to speak the truth as a victim. At first, people commend your bravery. They celebrate you for standing up, for fighting the battle.
But keep going, keep telling the full story, the ugly details, the ongoing cost and suddenly you’re “depressing.” Too heavy. Too raw.
People want the inspiring stand. They want the heroic moment.
What they don’t want is any reminder of the actual war: the true cost, the exhaustion, the wounds that don’t heal neatly, the unpleasant realities that have lingered far to long.
Bravery is only attractive to the masses when it’s convenient. The moment it causes discomfort - it becomes a burden they’d rather scroll past.
I’m not here to make anyone comfortable.
I’m here because the truth matters more than comfort. And I’m here because what the South African government has done to my family is something I would not wish upon my worst enemy.
I’m here because it really is THAT bad and it has all but broken me.
If not now, then when? If not us. then who?

Dineo Seletswane is a pharmacist, businesswoman, and director of DSM Health, Mining, Construction, and Petroleum. She gained significant public attention and became the focus of investigative reporting by News24 following a controversial R3.5-million private jet trip to London and the subsequent awarding of municipal tenders to her companies.
In 2022, Seletswane undertook a luxury 3 day shopping trip to London on a privately chartered jet, accompanied by the then Ekurhuleni city manager, Imogen Mashazi. The source of funding for the multi million rand flight was never clearly disclosed. Less than a year later, her company DSM Construction was awarded a portion of a major municipal tender for fuel supply through the Ekurhuleni Metro. According to records, the company has since received payments totalling nearly R9.7 million under the contract, including an amount exceeding R565,000 just days before Seletswane publicly denied that her businesses traded with the government.
Journalists also discovered irregularities with her company’s registered business address, which was listed at Sandton’s Leaping Frog Shopping Centre but does not actually exist. A qualified pharmacist by profession, Seletswane previously ran the Jukskei Park Pharmacy and is formally registered as Dineo Precious Kubheka (Seletswane). Court records show she has faced multiple financial legal challenges, including active property attachments and auction orders involving major banks such as Nedbank and Mercantile Bank. She has also been romantically linked to prominent Sandton ophthalmologist Dr Tebogo Maleka, with whom she has shared a residence in Dainfern, Johannesburg.
Who paid for Imogen Mashazi’s sweetheart London shopping spree aboard a R3.5m private jet? All the details in the final instalment of our investigation tomorrow.
@News24
Beware cheap imitations and disinfo ops. We were approached on Thursday and urged not to publish our story about who bankrolled Imogen Mashazi’s London jaunt. In exhange for not naming the paymaster, we would be given the *real* story. Now we bring publication forward by 24hrs.

I’m at home recovering after my emergency surgery - BUT I have to congratulate the @NPA_Prosecutes team led by advocate Billy Downer in obtaining their precedent-setting Stop Stalingrad ruling.
This isn’t just about Jacob Zuma.
It blocks abuse of appeals to avoid trial.
It’s HUGE
Hello Mayor Morero @CityofJoburgZA and @MyJRA - this hole is still opened near Colony Centre. A car literally flew into it. Thank God the driver wasn’t hurt and the car’s removed but the hole is still there. @helenzille in case you need another dip.
