Nick Yorke being optioned back to Triple-A means the Pirates need to make another move before Tuesday.
Esmerlyn Valdez and Jhostynxon Garcia are two names worth watching. Valdez has been producing in Indy, while Garcia’s May line jumps off the page, tho with some of that damage coming during his rehab work in the lower minors.
Either way, the Pirates need offense. One of these two make sense to get the call.

#NFL STAR AJ BROWN POSTED A 9-MINUTE VIDEO SPEAKING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH AFTER RONDALE MOORE COMMITTED SUICIDE.
“Don’t take the easy way out. I once thought that was the way.”
Brown once nearly took his own life.
A must-watch video 🙏🙏https://t.co/g9Ou4KgnDk
Rondale Moore was a fighter. He was born 5 weeks early. He fought to live, to become a 4 star recruit, & a 2nd round NFL draft pick. He was not a soft man! Asking for help doesn’t make you soft either.
I cannot stress enough how important is to talk to someone, & even more important listen when someone says they aren’t ok. No one is meant to battle alone! We are losing so many young men. Rest easy brother 🙏🏾. Prayers and condolences to his friends & family.

Before his passing, actor Eric Dane quietly recorded a final message for his daughters during his last interview with Netflix, knowing it would be released after his death.
“Live now, right now, in the present. It's hard, but I learned to do that for years.”
“I would wander off mentally lost in my head for long chunks of time, wallowing in worry and self-pity, shame and doubt, and replay decisions. Second-guess myself. 'I should have done this. I never should have done that.' No more.”
Such a tragic loss. RIP. 🙏🏾

"This guy is a throwback to the days of Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens... power pitchers that aren't afraid to go out there."
#MLBTonight reacts to Paul Skenes' comments on the Pirates ramping up for a Postseason push this year.
12-year-old Maya Gebala was gunned down in Canada recently by a man pretending to be a woman during the Tumbler Ridge mass*cre.
Maya was trying to lock the school library door to protect her fellow students but had to abandon the door and hide under a table, where she was struck by bullets in the head and neck. She was airlifted to BC Children’s Hospital and remains in critical condition.
A bullet remains lodged in her and shards are still in her brain, but she is fighting for her life and showing small signs of improvement.
Her family has received many donations to support her long and expensive road to recovery.
Pray for Maya and her family.
