Driving back up the road from a weekend near Dumfries so stopped by the Thornhill station. Is it manned still? Car park was full but unsure if just being used by nearby garage. Looks like a station full of character and history!
With such replies as "I just got this in the post two days ago" or "I just got told this isnt going ahead"
I also enjoy the "I didn't think I'd have to give evidence, I'm not going" ๐คก๐คก
Police officers are hand-delivering more than 400 court citations every day in Scotland in a process described as โabsolutely appallingโ by the head of the forceโs watchdog. https://t.co/s3DDonPPxf
@mcnulty46480@baseballscot Yeah what baseballscot said, I would recommend getting hold of the SPRA Shops number and give them a phone to check they have some more in and ask em to put a couple aside as they sell fast and I've heard stories of folk driving down to the castle only for them to be sold out ๐ต
Visited Krakรณw. Brilliant place, nipped in to the station on Henryka Siemiradzkiego with a Police Scotland patch, Tayside Police patch and a couple Challenge coins I handed to the Commander. ๐ต๐ฑ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ค๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
If you're a SPRA member and interested in Ice Hockey I highly recommend checking out the SPRA Ice Hockey Section. If you can put on skates and hold a stick let us know. Details on the Section page.
If anyone is considering what to read next, please consider picking up one of John Donoghue's books. They contain anecdotes, and stories that will resonate with us all.
Got my copy 8+ years ago and it gave me a glimpse of the madness to come.
Happy reading!
@hudson77449685 My money is on stations will close and Response, Community, CID and some departments will work out of Council offices.
Traffic & ARV will work from Custody hubs in larger cities.
Rural stations will close & will be replaced by dedicated cars from the nearest city.
We'll see...
