Metal Bat has an ability called fighting spirit. What it basically does is make him stronger the more he sustain injuries. In an actual battle wont go down unless you blew his head off or vaporize him

The Simulation just copies mostly stats. It doesn't take into the account your adaptability. Thats why Metal Bat immediately lost cuz it doesn't recognise his.
