Kavan Vishnubhai Patel was arrested in Florida after allegedly intentionally running over and KILLING Hunter Russey with his car before fleeing the scene.

Kyneddi Miller, 14, was found dead on the bathroom floor of her family's WV home on 4/17/2024.

She weighed 58lbs.

Investigators said she was "emaciated to a skeletal state."

Testimony showed the family's fear of COVID was so all-consuming that she may not have left the house for her last 4 years of life.

Her dad, Terry Miller, testified that the family shut him out and that her grandmother kept saying she was "fine."

Yesterday, Oct. 19, a Boone County jury convicted the grandmother, Donna Stone, of murder by failure to provide necessities and child neglect causing death.

Today, the jury granted her mercy.

She got 15 years to life and can seek parole instead of serving life without parole.

UNBELIEVABLE.

I have granddaughters. I would die myself before I would let any harm come to any of them.

The thought of watching one of my girls starve to death and do nothing.......NEVER.

Kyneddi's mother, Julie Miller, pleaded guilty and is serving 15 to life.

Stone will be sentenced Dec. 8.
