The U.S. Army is now studying Israel’s battlefield medical innovations to improve its own ability to save American soldiers’ lives.

According to Fox News, the IDF has reduced its combat casualty mortality rate by more than half, from 15% during the 2006 Lebanon War to just 7.1% during the Swords of Iron campaign.

How?

👉 Doctors embedded directly within military companies.

👉 First responders carrying blood plasma in portable coolers.

👉 A real-time medical data network allowing medical officers throughout the chain of care to access patient information instantly.

👉 Advanced life support reaching wounded soldiers within just four minutes, compared with the previous 15–20 minutes.

In April, a 78-page U.S. Army report recommended incorporating Israel’s battlefield medical innovations into American military practices, warning that “the time for preparation is now” and that “simply possessing clinical and tactical skills is insufficient.”

As someone who firmly believes in putting America first, I also believe that maintaining a close alliance with Israel serves American interests.

There are many reasons for this, and the U.S. military learning from Israeli battlefield experience is just one example.

Putting America first should also mean recognizing what America stands to gain from its allies.

Britain has never banned the Muslim Brotherhood or called it a terrorist organisation, not once. Robin Simcox, the government's former independent adviser on extremism, wrote in August that he watched it run a network built to reshape society from the bottom up, feeding grievance over "Islamophobia" and hiding behind interlocking charities, companies, NGOs and media outlets, and that in four years he could not get Whitehall to build work against it that would survive a reshuffle.
