@dcrvtvjujm@nekhoops@TheWestWolfPod@purehoops35 Harden had a great year and did carry Houston. But he literally had a team, coach and system built to play to his strengths. One carried an average to good roster to the third seed. The other carried a bad to average roster to the 6th.
@dcrvtvjujm Harden had good floor spacing and two 6th men of the year in Eric Gordon and Lou will. Russ 2nd best offensive player was Enes Kanter. Oladipo was inconsistent all year. And both missed 10 and 15 games due to injury. Along with the third youngest roster worst 3 pt shooting.
@Bardock_NBA@TheWestWolfPod I’m surprised you didn’t put Wall. Russ has always been a lockdown defender when he tried. My only gripe with him is I feel he could’ve had at least a few 1st team all defenses. But he lacked effort on that end at times. That’s why I’d give cp3 the edge
@TheWestWolfPod They told me this series didn’t matter because Kawhi went down. That all his good games were because he had the ball.
Yet still critique him for his bad shooting games that’s series.
@CousinTurn@balldontstop Russ team was legit horrible and he dragged them to the 6th seed.
Forget the triple double. Okc was the 2nd youngest in the league and the worst 3 pt shooting team that year.
Enes kanter was the only other reliable offensive threat. Oladipo was inconsistent as hell.
@TheWestWolfPod It’s hard for me tbh.
Russ is at his best when he’s playing like how he was on the wizards.
The rockets were the first time we got to see Russ surrounded by shooters and open space for him to dominate the paint.
Preferably I like Rockets better though.
@KaizenXIX@JonathanFast9 @IsiahThomas @mymixtapez Russ definitely doesn’t have less endurance. Mental resilience is not a measure of athleticism.
And I wouldn’t say Lebron is faster than peak Russ. He’s the fastest at his size.
@DeadAssFacts1@Alex_PorterEnt That’s never been the issue with Russ though. Only on his tenure with the Lakers and the clippers with harden was he not used properly.
Every other place he’s been given the green light. He has flaws like any other player and isn’t a number one.
@dcv_12@JamCristopher Russ even said his role that season was to give the keys to pg and get him going. 2018-2019 was the worst of Russ triple double years and the start of his decline.
@klamb33 @celticsgrunt@Colttoonnnn @NoaDalzellNBA Making this way more complicated than it needs to be.
He was aggressive & putting pressure on the defense.
He was able to get other guys going, make plays and keep the defense in rotation.
Yes he tried to score. He wasn’t ball hogging but playing within the offense.
@TitsDry4K @EverydaycarryAZ@RealCrazyFight_ It’s cowardly to pick fights with people.
If I’m minding my business not bothering anyone.
And someone feels the need to fight with me and then try to use physical force. I have the right to defend myself.
People die from fist fights too. Or even have lingering injuries.
@miltee_tdot@jimkryjer@ClutchPoints@NBATV All the teams the mavs played in the playoffs played elite defense.
None of the other teams could match Luka and Kyrie in scoring.
If clippers had Kawhi Dallas wouldn’t have made it this far to begin with.
@TheWestWolfPod Once everyone’s roles were defined they started to look deadly.
Roberson was no shooter but he was a great cutter and solid finsher. A real deal lockdown defender.
Him, Pg, and Russ defending made it easier to hide Melo on defense. A big what if imo
@no_way58279 @TammieMcDonal17@barstoolsports@catturd2 Do it then. Stop creating race problems that don’t exist.
Nobodies doing this to her cause she’s white. This is part of sports. It happens in the nba and nfl.
People try to rattle you and be extra physical. Either hit back or make them eat their words.
Stop bitching…
@TammieMcDonal17@barstoolsports@catturd2 Have you played sports? Why would anyone be charged for any crime in sports?
This shit happens all the time in the nfl, nba and other contact sports.
Doesn’t matter if you’re white or black.
Stop crying and whining. Caitlyn or her teammates should’ve been physical back.
@Cat2080288@TammieMcDonal17@barstoolsports@catturd2 You must’ve never played a sport in your life. This shit literally happens all the time in the nba, nfl and many other contact sports.
Stop whining about a race problem that doesn’t even exist in sports.
