Brand tone: I read the room and adjust myself.

Brand voice: I'm the whole reason we're in that room. We're not the same dude, we're not the same!

But he ended up as a generic business that sounded like everyone else, lost all the trust he had built over the years, and had to go back to square one.

So, now Jimmy is re-hiring his whole team and all his recent posts start with ...

When Jimmy discovered AI, he thought he'd never have to say those words again. He bought all the subscriptions he thought he needed, fired everyone except his personal secretary, and spammed every platform with "automation" posts.

All the new followers that he did get were people who survived on follow-for-follow. Not one person from his ICP was anywhere to be seen.  He had automated everything to scale his business without having to work that much.

Maybe that's why we cringe at AI-generated writing. Cuz the person generating that content doesn't care about it. And the AI is ... well, it has no feelings so, of course it doesn't care.

My soul yearns to write my heart out. To not hate em dashes and 3-word sentences.

They were once signs of GOOD, REAL writing and now look at them. A crime-scene evidence!

I wish AI hadn't abused them to the point where we deliberately avoid them just to sound "human."
