whenever congress talks about how 'bjp insults dalits', i am reminded of the time back in 1998 when sitaram kesri, a dalit leader of congress, was locked in bathroom so that madam can be made the party president.

you see, back in march 1998, kesri reached congress headquarters in delhi for cwc meeting, but he was surprised when no one got up to greet him.

pranab mukherjee thanks him for his service and moves a motion to make madam the party president. apparently, he was locked in bathroom for hours as madam took over party presidency. oh, and when kesri was leaving, he was heckled by congress workers - and they even tried to pull his dhoti.

A certain Bombay High Court Lawyer who practised for 19 years made his son a priest. Three years later, he was appointed to Supreme Court and a year after that, he was made ASG. He was a senior lawyer arguing all kinds of cases, both good and bad.
What happened to his son? Ordained priest he is and a pious and orthodox one, he took followed his father to become first a lawyer and with his towering father looking after him, climbed very quickly in the bar and eventually ended up as Chief Justice. His orthodoxy, sometimes even to evangelical levels became a cornerstone in his career, even as a judge. There are known cases where he influenced his community to file cases to counter government acts which he felt were against the interests of his community.
Now, tell me, what kind of secularism is this. A lawyer making his son a priest itself is a red flag. As if that's not enough, the son becomes a lawyer and then quickly climbing the ranks, all the while showing influences of his religious background all the while.
