@gordonkeith
I’m guessing the new car is a Subaru BRZ.
(4k rpms for the first 1k miles, RWD, not expensive, track orientation)
I’m looking at a BRZ or a Miata, maybe a CT5-V, for my track slut.
@elonmusk Your class would rather make it our problem instead of fix these things.
To do so we would need to return to similar levels of executive pay and inequality.
You pick.
But you can’t force me to have kids I cannot afford to raise right.
This problem is on you, fuckface.
@elonmusk If you want 1950-1960 birth rates, we need an economic world that’s also similar. An educated breadwinner could afford to work a 40-50 hour week and provide for a family of 4.
That means wages, opportunity, and retirement indexed to at LEAST inflation, productivity even better.

Please be snow monkeys…
please be snow monkeys…
please be snow monkeys…
Sounds like our intrepid Musers need to check in on their compound at 8:40!

@NBiznich@stengel Land doesn’t vote. Make it GDP and watch it invert. Poor dumb sons of bitches versus what really makes this place hum.
I’ve switched from being outraged to hoping he gets everything he wants.
It’ll fuck then more than me. Please succeed.
@elonmusk I wasn’t about to repeat that cycle and raise another frustrated person.
Having kids that I cannot afford to provide the kind of life experiences to maximize their potential, and guarantee them a better life than me, felt selfish.
Wealth inequality is the culprit. Full stop.
@elonmusk I decided that unless I were to somehow dramatically alter my station in life, it would be cruel to that child.
I was born to lower middle SES parents & the common theme in my household regarding my pursuits, interests, and education goals was “we don’t have the money, sorry.”
@gordonkeith And at 49:44 you will find the source material that led to some of the greatest and most courageous reporting of JFK, Jr.’s plane being discovered, having gone down on Gay Head with everyone still strapped inside.
@oldwaver
@wfaa Freedom of religion is rooted in freedom from religion. People should have a natural right to live in an agnostic society. The Founding Fathers all understood this, hence the doctrine of separation of church and state. This is a total disaster.
@WatchingUFoolU @jshuey@CalltoActivism Yet again, Republican beliefs are comprised of “I heard it on Fox” & “I really want this to be true.”
Fact:
“7 of the 10 states most dependent on the federal government were Republican-voting, with the average red state receiving $1.05 per dollar spent.”

@DJR1310 Hey bud - are you responsible for some of the new Musers return music? I loved hearing Bleachers this morning - great tune for a return track. Good stuff.
