I had tea with a prospective business colleague and in the course of talking I realised one thing; we have a "Kenyan" culture that is inherently cutthroat, seeks shortcuts, refuses to honour the long process of growth, and wants instant gratification at maximum gains NOW.
This discussion is so old & repetitive because it comes from the assumption these people wed without talking stages or dating & the misogyny just comes out of nowhere after vows are made in a church or AG's.
Can we talk about how mood swings don't affect how empowered women speak to their colleagues or bosses at work but at home they can be mean, cold & evil because the expectation is someone who loves you will tolerate your nonsense?
Please, thanks.
ile siku you’ll see your ‘avoidant’ with someone they actually really like ndio utajua anaku kitu kama avoidant…they just dont rate you enough (ouch ik)🤣🤣🤣
