The internet is mostly bots arguing with humans who are trying to prove they aren’t bots.

You can summon a car, groceries, a doctor, a date, a private jet, or a dog walker from your phone.

People pay real money for invisible currencies, digital monkeys, AI girlfriends and pictures that disappear after 24 hours.

The richest companies in the world don’t sell oil, steel, or cars. They sell attention, compute, data, and addiction.

And somehow, after all of that everyone is still using Excel.

The U.S. is in a partial government funding impasse (sometimes called a "shutdown" for the affected agencies) specifically hitting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). TSA is part of DHS and handles airport security screening.
Congress has repeatedly failed to pass a full-year funding bill for DHS. The sticking point is a partisan standoff:
Republicans have pushed bills that fund the entire DHS (including ICE immigration enforcement).
Democrats have blocked them, arguing against tying TSA pay to broader immigration provisions or wanting separate carve-outs/reforms. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer has proposed funding just TSA, but that has also failed so far.
Because TSA workers are "essential," most have kept showing up — but they're not getting paid.

@Teslarati Tesla should offer insurance with FSD included in the price. Could charge $2000 per year.
In Europe our insurance companies charge a steep premium on Tesla's cause they claim they have large expenses on repairs after a crash. They are afraid they have to replace the battery.

@isaacfrench_ One could put the money into TSLA stock instead and subscribe to FSD. I bet 8k in TSLA stock will grow more than 1.2k a year.
If it goes 10x over the next 7 years youll have 80k in stock and only paid about 8.4k in FSD subscription. Netting you about 70k in profit.

@AlexHormozi I don't care what anyone else has, i just want enough to be 100% able to decide what to do with my time.
Don't need fancy cars, don't need 1st class flights.
Financial freedom for my family and me is what i want, and i would prefer no one knowing that is the case.
