Great day getting @CoreLayerEU back on track with #automation and #iac. Used @HashiCorp #packer to create a new #vm template on #proxmox, followed by #terraform to create a set of #clones to prepare for an #k3s cluster. All stored in a #selfhosted #forgejo repository with credentials pulled on-the-fly from @1Password #cli.😍

Next steps: using @ansible and #k3sup by @alexellisuk to spin up the cluster and deploy @NetScaler #cpx for my presentation @DuCUG:
"Alice in NetSc(k8s)ler land!"

Ever felt the anxiety of a single server being the lynchpin of your entire infrastructure? I recently tackled that challenge by building high availability into my HAProxy setup. Previously running a single HAProxy instance, I realized I was missing robust failover capabilities. The goal? Zero downtime and automatic recovery.

I’ve detailed the journey from configuration to automated certificate syncing and testing in a new post.

After being contacted by a couple of customers regarding the updates sent out by Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (@ncsc_nl) regarding CVE-2025-5777 and CVE-2025-6543 for NetScaler, I've decided to bundle a set of tests for indicators of compromise into one #shell script.

This script is based on one of my old #IoC scripts for CVE-2023-3419, combined with information from an article provided by my fellow former #CitrixCTP, @Deyda84.

For more information, check the article at: https://t.co/QB3QbLuTlw #netscaler #cve #ioc #security.

New #blog post: Learn how to deploy @Citrix @NetScaler #VPX on #Proxmox https://t.co/jhC4RRVdH9 #CitrixCTP #NetScaler

[Jan Tytgat 🇧🇪🇪🇺 @jantytgat]

🚨 Update 🚨

There is a new build that should fix the VPX Express licensing issues: 14.1 build 29.65.

You can find the build under:
Downloads --> NetScaler --> Virtual Appliances --> Citrix ADC VPX Release 14.1 --> 14.1-29.63 --> Citrix ADC Upgrade Package-14.1-29.65 (for VPX Express users only) #CitrixCTP

[Jan Tytgat 🇧🇪🇪🇺 @jantytgat]

🚨🚨🚨 Beware of #NetScaler 14.1 build 29.63: This is a broken build for VPX Express!! 🚨🚨🚨

Fresh installs and upgrades from previous versions cause the license checks to fail on boot, rendering the appliance useless. Only the "EXPORT" variants of SSL ciphers are available.

Proceed with caution on (licensed) production systems!! #CitrixCTP

[Jan Tytgat 🇧🇪🇪🇺 @jantytgat]

🚨We automated our #wireguard server and clients, including a #watchdog script for #linux clients to monitor the connection! 🚨

Providing exclusive benefits to your top-tier partners is understandable @citrix, but scrapping "Partner Use" and "Demo" licenses entirely for all partners except the Platinum tier is bonkers.

So, how do you expect "Lighthouse" partners to learn and expand their expertise? Especially since we all know that many of these high-volume partners are simple box movers, I can't find the logic for this move...,
