@CorePython That’s obviously what this whole retool was. Just an attempt to save his job and have them sneak into the playoffs hopefully while having no realistic chance to win the cup. Purgatory enables him to keep his job. Some of the moves were you’re standard GMing.
@CorePython I'm watching the "everyone owes Drury an apology" people because every single year they do this on July 1st and a few months later they're calling for his head
Did Drury feel pressure to make win-now moves this summer?
"As I've said in the past, I'm not gonna sit here and put a time on anything. The only timeline I operate on is trying to get better every single day, and looking at ways to get the team better every single day, and we'll continue to do that. We’re certainly excited to add the pieces we did."

Drury has certainly been busy, but I’m not convinced this team is better.
I think they’re weaker down the middle and less talented offensively than they were in January. The defense has improved, but that’s about the only area where I see a clear step forward.
I usually lean optimistic, but I can’t shake the feeling that this is just a middle of the pack team as it’s currently constructed.
I’m open for discussion

Yea which is why it was INNNSSAAANNNEE they kept him the last 2 years.
Should've cleared house so you don't have a mad man fighting for his job risking the future to get back to being the 3 seed in the Metro.
A nice add, but still need to see the return.
Fox-Gav-Pettersson at your top 3 D is good, I just really have no clue what the Rangers are doing.
Are we still selling on Borgen, Schneider, and Tro?
