@DKingTelegraph@FootballCliches No matter where the threshold is, is there not always going to be a harsh line in the sand somewhere. There’ll forever be a situation where someone is marginally offside no matter whether it’s a body length it’s a toenail or whatever the rule is
@Biggies_MaIIs Minds working overdrive as to which group they despise the most they could shift blame on to, when the assailant didn't have the desired skin tone, scousers were next on the list
@Biggies_MaIIs Got every camera pointed at the Alexander Arnold extended family like anyone watching cares, the only people watching are Liverpool fans, cater to them
@SenseiCarl_ My only slight delusion that it might still happen is the fact the UFC haven’t stripped him yet, it’s the only logical reason they wouldn’t have done it by now, my rose tinted specs take is he’s playing hardball still looking them to meet his quote
@PhilBlundell I get maybe saying it’s a wee bit harsh but we’ve seen them given all season, not sure it required a soliloquy on the death of football from the commentary team
@PhilBlundell They usually strip any shred of nuance or context from their arguments as well. "You left PWC to go to Deloitte mate so you're actually a massive hypocrite", almost like football isn't the same as being an accountant.
@ChrisHewittLFC I’m purely speculating but I get the feeling Slot/Hughes won’t have much sentimentality with the current squad, not sure he’ll be here next year, give his availability and how streaky his form typically is
@Biggies_MaIIs I'll be honest, when we were having average seasons I used say stuff like, teams up their game against us, keepers always have worldies against us. When you're actually fucking good, you realise you just get the job done, if they get some bottle that'll dawn on them someday
@BackseatsmanLFC Saw some account at halftime saying that game was tailor made for him with the space in behind. Not sure I’ve ever seen a player at Liverpool whose reputation grows based on how little he plays.
@FPLFalse9@rudkin_abigail Upper Anfield Road has always been solid, think mainly as it has a large volume of supporters who get tickets through the membership. In my opinion ranking on atmosphere it goes KOP, Anfield Road, Upper Main, Upper Kenny, Lower Main (unless your near the away end), Lower Kenny
@spiritofshankly@reid1892 It’s always been my only somewhat reliable avenue of getting tickets, no one who goes to the effort of constantly checking the additional member sale is interested in hospitality, it’s just unnecessarily adding another hurdle to an already laborious process to get a ticket
@RamboFYI What he’s done for the club won’t be forgotten in the long run but leaving on a free transfer whilst playing in the best Liverpool squad of the last 30 years will definitely leave a significant blemish on any legacy he hopes to have.
