Digital IDs for internet safety are a classic slippery slope. Just look at income tax: it started in 1913 as "only for the rich" (under 1%). Within years, the dial turned, and now everyone pays. Once you build the gate to track identity, the power to shut it is permanent.
@RossyPrime Go ahead and do that. Make a state where only women live and there are no men allowed. Let's see how long it continues to function. Let's see who's going to maintain your power grids.. maintain your sewers.. and all the other dirty Jobs.
@femalebodybuil6 It doesn't matter. No one breaks into a home without criminal intent. Criminal intent automatically makes me assume hostile. And if I have to assume hostile I'm assuming armed.
@Timcast
We donβt have capitalism anymore-we have corporate feudalism. Mega-corps own the infrastructure and we just pay rent. The root rot is shareholder primacy. Squeezing workers for next quarter's stock price isn't a free market. We need to go back to stakeholder primacy.
