Thanks @WWE for bringing back “live events.” No cameras, no Netflix and when the lights are on the ring it’s wrestling the way our forefathers enjoyed it. This could have been any Sportatorium, Cow Palace, War Memorial or Civic Center anywhere in America. #wwebakersfield
@trevhorn@BakoBlaze I loved the Cal League but I am genuinely excited for this new venture for the AV. They are marketing this team to the entire region, including my town of Tehachapi. It’s a great organization.
Watching a Chiefs game is like watching pro wrestling when the heel runs in and hits his friends opponent while the referee isn’t looking. Except the referees are the heel and they are staring the Chiefs’ opponent right in the face while they do it.
Episode 5 of this spin off covering state and national legislative issues along with things like the state budget, committee hearings and the economy. Quick listen and informative.

Warriors Win!! 9-0 over Hanford West!! Samuel Ciaccio is the Warriors Player of the Game!! Sammy threw a No-No in his first outing of the year and notched 8 strikeouts!! Go Warriors!!
Shout out to SDSU for even scheduling a dangerous D2 program, most D1 squads avoid this because of how close in competition some D2’s can be. Decent showing by my alma mater, tough to play at Viejas Arena but they held their own. https://t.co/adv3E9CE4y
Naturally. How about the @CifCentral add a special playoff game, @ShafterFootball vs @tehachapisports? They could dub it the Central Section Screw Bowl. First undefeated Tehachapi’s D2 seeding and Shafter’s last second hose job. Integrity officially gone.
The Torres Toros are the winners in the Division 4 Semifinals football playoff game beating the Shafter Generals 43-42
The CIF has decided that the Torres Toros will get the win even though the referees said it was no good throwing a pass to an ineligible receiver. It’s a rules call and not a judgment call.
The Referees did the right thing and saying when huddling up after running off the field, we made the wrong call and let both teams know that the play was no good.
To the referee’s working the game, job well done.
To the CIF, you simply blew it!
The commitment to excellence slogan went out the window and this could have been a great learning experience for everybody in doing the right thing.
The Division 4 Section Championship game Friday night 7pm
Torres Toros (10-3) at Dos Palos Broncos (11-1)
A good start, curious how this plays out and if the adults in the room do the right thing. Especially with the admission of a lack of an on field conversation.
Here is the latest with the Extra-Point-Gate in the Torres vs Shafter game.
Shafter is leading 42-41
Shafter administration/Torres Administration/ADs and the Officials will meet on Sunday at 10am with the CIF Commish Ryan Tos, and will have a decision on who will be playing Dos Palos in Division 4 Section Championship game on Friday night.
Bottom line the Refs never left the stadium and knew they made the wrong call.
The call should have been made last night that the ball was completed to an ineligible receiver (Center caught the ball) and the play should have never counted.
Will the CIF do the right thing?
Stay tuned
