@WhoIsJamesG Hey James, I was born with a leg length discrepancy and wear an insert every day, but I couldn’t use it while wrestling. The difference was always more noticeable during matches. Most people never realize how much of an impact something like that can have on movement and balance.
@JClarkNBCS 62 pitches, 1 run, no walks, and he was settling in after getting rocked his last start. That was the exact moment to let Painter go win the 6th and build confidence. Took him out way too early.
@BNightengale@incarceratedbob “He declined the Phillies job to spend time with his family”… which is also what everyone in the organization is trying to do by October.
@espn@JeffPassan Thomson is the fall guy, but this is on Dombrowski. He doubled down on an aging core, ignored regression signals, and bet on past production. When the roster slows down all at once, no manager is saving it.
@JClarkNBCS Finally! The right move. Walker has lost velocity, can’t consistently locate, and the walk + HR combo turns every outing into damage control. #Ringthebell
@PHLY_Eagles@DiBonaNFL@FDuffyNFL So they bring in Lomu… makes sense. He’s strong in pass protection with real upside at tackle, but still needs work in run blocking and strength. If Philly trusts their development, it fits but he’s a projection, not a finished product.
@DNVR_Broncos@BaldyNFL Stowers at 62 could be a steal. Great athlete, legit joker fit for Sean Payton- but he’s still a development TE with blocking questions, a bit like Evan Engram. Perfect value at 62… but trading up for him? What are we doing here. If he’s there, take him. If not, move on.
@DNVR_Broncos@AndreSimone@HenryChisholm At 62 they don’t need to get cute and trade up like something’s slipping away. There are plenty of good players left. Stay put, take the best value: OL, edge, TE, whatever’s there and stop handing out future picks for no real reason.
@PHLY_Eagles@FDuffyNFL So Proctor’s probably gone…fine. Eagles should still stay in the trenches. Take Freeling or Lomu to protect the QB and stabilize the OL. WR help is nice, safety is fine, but if you don’t fix the line first? Come on.
@JClarkNBCS Not a good ballgame - plain and simple.
Too many mistakes, no timely hitting, and when you don’t pick up your pitcher, it looks like that. Sanchez battled but got no help.
Clean it up or it’s gonna be a long one.
@JClarkNBCS@rickybottalico Forcing Bryson Stott into the 5-hole is a role mismatch.
He’s not a true run producer—he’s a rhythm/contact bat. Up there he presses, expands the zone, and tries to be something he’s not. In the 6, the game comes to him and he actually contributes.
Fix the lineup.
@EricLDaugh Support must never replace judgment. This operation lacked clarity and discipline. Now an American is in enemy territory, and the plan to recover him is anything but evident.
@sam_amick@TheAthletic “Stop at 81”? Nah. Kobe didn’t drop 81 for a museum exhibit — he dropped it to be chased. If a man’s got more than that in him, let him go get it.
Basketball is competition not a history lesson. Respect the record, but don’t bow to it.
