The Kansas equipment staff haven’t packed blue unis for the opening weekend of the tournament since 2000. On 3/19/00 8th seeded KU lost to top seed Duke 69-64. Duke was led by Carlos Boozer and Shane Battier. Freshman Kirk Hinrich led Kansas with 12 points.
