Vincent wrote in 1882: ✍️ ‘Life is the same as drawing: sometimes one has to act quickly and resolutely, tackle things with willpower, [...]. It’s no use hesitating or doubting, and the hand may not tremble and the eye may not wander but must remain fixed on one’s purpose’.
I think roughly the same skills make you both a good partner/parent as well as good senior+ engineer.
Mid level:
- what should i do next?
- i didn't know that was going to become a problem
Senior+:
- i've automated our air filter replacement
- running low on eggs, doing an Instacart pickup later
- kids are smelly, going to wash them
- here's our meal plan for the week
- i scheduled a playdate for the dog
- our frontyard looks like shit so I wrote an RFC for what V2 should look like
- our SLI for date nights is trending down, here's my plan to fix it

@SabrinaSpectre I went at 7am, so, yes, but not as bad as when they are actually open to the public. This was a fairly quiet period near the Sunflowers.
