@JackPosobiec I’m old enough to remember when the President of the United States didn’t allow radicalized terrorist regimes to dictate what we were going to do, or when we were going to do it.
Man, those were some good times…
No, I’m not Jewish.
And no, I’ve never been to the Holy Land.
I am a Christian…Living proof of the blessings of freedom, inherently and spiritually…both of which were paid for in blood.
Every day I choose to unashamedly wear two symbols around my neck.
The first is a Cross…The enduring symbol of my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior.
The second is a Star of David…To symbolize my unwavering love, prayers, and support for Israel and her people.
This isn’t political. I’ve always held this conviction.
To me, it’s Biblical, and an unshakable cornerstone of my faith as a follower of Christ.
Not everyone will agree, even some fellow believers. And that’s ok.
But as for me, “AM YISRAEL CHAI.”

I’m old enough to remember when my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ would only vilify and argue with one another over controversial things like denominational practices, traditional vs contemporary services, and who had the best mac ‘n cheese at the potluck.
Man, those were some good times…

In a world full of Old Man Potter’s, be a George or Mary Bailey…
In a world full of Pottersville’s, help build a Bedford Falls…
And if you’ve never seen the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” at least take a few minutes to research the life of Jimmy Stewart. Trust me, you’ll be just as touched by his life story…actor, war hero, patriot, and strong Christian believer…
“Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?”
- Clarence in “It’s a Wonderful Life” (my
favorite line, in my favorite movie)
This world sure could use a few more like the Bailey's...
252 years ago tonight...December 16th, 1773...
On December 16th each year, in the dead of night, we always raise and fly high the “9 Rebellious Stripes” to pay tribute, and to remember their boldness and bravery...
I would have loved to have been there, tossing chests of tea, stirring up some “good trouble,” wreaking revolutionary havoc...and if not at the Harbor, maybe planning around a table at The Green Dragon in Boston, or perhaps in the murky swamps of the Lowcountry, maybe discussing rattlesnakes with Christopher Gadsden while being held in that dark dungeon in Charleston, or encamped at the footsteps of Kings Mountain with Col. John Walker, my ancestor.
You see, The Sons of Liberty were not just in Boston, but in many towns and cities throughout the colonies…including right here in the Carolinas.
I guess you could say these stripes have always been in my blood... 🇺🇸 🐍🩸🤍

I’m an avid soccer enthusiast.
I can’t name a single player on this team, nor can I share any statistics, records, or results they’ve produced…
But as of yesterday, I’m one of their biggest fans.
Do your research to figure out why.
Hint: “Villa Park”
LET’S GO MACCABI TEL AVIV!

To most, it may look like an old rock...
But it’s not.
In fact, it’s so much more...It’s a very special, and a timeless memorial.
It sits in a glass-top display case, on a shelf, under a neatly folded (but now heavily faded) American flag.
Strange, but time seems to move so much faster ever since that day.
Maybe it’s just me.
Maybe I’m just getting older. Yet, that day is the one day (during my lifetime) that stands out when I remember everything changing...forever...
This rarely sees the light of day. Yet, when it does, it serves as a permanent reminder, and as a small, hallowed memorial to those who were lost that day...and to all who were lost serving in the days that followed...
Not as many people seem to care as much these days about this small piece of history...but to me, and to those who do, it will always represent the day that time seemed to stand still...forever...
#NeverForget 🇺🇸
Each and every day that I am blessed to wake up, I am so proud to be an American.
But it is on this day each year that my American pride runs just a little bit stronger than on every other day. We made a promise "Never To Forget," and we all have an obligation to do just that.
Left, Right, Red, Blue, Elephants, Donkeys, R's, D's, and everything in between...at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter...so long as we all know and understand that when we face adversity as a nation, we remember why our Founding Fathers intentionally decided to include the word "UNITED" in our name.
It's so important that we remember that.
And, as we look back, may we also remember that American spirit that made this great nation what it is today, and what gives us the assurance that our best days are still to come.
