You need to distinguish what you mean by “feelings.”

Feelings = sensations. Mental ideations are not sensations. You can only feel physical sensations for you own body. Thus men only feel physically male sensations. Mental ideations that a man THINKS he is female is NOT a physical sensation. A man IS his body, regardless of whether he mentally likes it or not. A man might have bad mental anxieties about his body, but his own body is still the only body he feels.

There are two sexes.

Karyotypes are a mechanism of sex determination, not sex themselves. Each of those karyotypes drives male or female development.

You’ve even used the words “most common type of female/male”, suggesting the others are “less common types of female/male”, which is still all male or female.

Also, this list is not “the six karyotype sexes that do not result in the death of the fetus.” You missed tons, obviously, but interestingly, the most common female variant.

The people of Missouri deserve a representative who doesn’t fake being a scientific authority by quotebabbling a business asset manager.

The reason “It's hard to describe this transcendent feeling in words” is because it’s incoherent, not because it is so deep, so ineffable, that words cannot even begin to describe it.

When a man says he feels like a woman, what does he mean? He isn’t a woman and so cannot have the actual experiences that a woman has. At most, he can rely on second-hand accounts from women of what it is like to be a woman, or else he may rely on culturally available stereotypes of femaleness and try to identify with those. But these accounts, or these stereotypes, however extensive and however refined, are not equivalent to actual experience.

What does it mean to have an internal sense of gender? What does gender feel like? What does it mean to say that you have a feeling of being a man in a woman’s body, or a feeling of being a woman in a man’s body? These feelings, if they exist, are not like the feeling of being pinched, the feeling of a hot stove on your hand, or the feeling of anxiety. How do you know that this feeling that you have is the feeling of being a man as opposed to that of being a woman? What’s the point of contrast? If we cannot even experience in all respects what it feels like to be another individual of the same sex, as indeed we can’t, still less can we know what it feels like to be a member of the other sex. Indeed, such a feeling would be an odd sort of feeling, for if a given person felt it persistently throughout his life, with no point of contrast, then it would be a background condition of his being and so would be essentially unknowable. It would not be a sort of signal, as our experience of pain is.

Even if we had answers to these questions—and I don’t think they have answers—why should our feelings be determinative of reality? It is patently obvious that our feelings change and change frequently—does reality change correspondingly? What if I feel I’m black, as Rachel Dolezal apparent did and does? Would that make me black? If not, why not? What’s so special about my feeling of being a certain gender that in its case, feelings determine reality, but not in other cases?

There is a curiously ethereal aspect to transgenderism. My self, my real self, is apparently given to me by my feelings. I feel as if I were a man trapped in a woman’s body, or a woman trapped in a man’s body, and my feelings are more real than any mere biological facts. If I have a penis and I feel as if I were a woman, then I am a woman with a penis. If I have a uterus and I feel as if I were a man, then I am a man with a uterus! But what are these feelings of being a man or being a woman if not conformity to existing male and female stereotypes?

It may be that the claim to have these feelings is an oblique way of claiming to have a collection of desires normally manifested by women. Someone inclined to say that he ‘feels like a woman’ might simply be expressing a desire to wear a dress and high heels, to act as he thinks a woman acts, and to be treated as he thinks a woman should be treated. One significant difference, however, between the transgender person’s experience of these desires and a woman’s experience of them is that the transgender person experiences these desires as frustrated and so, in that respect, he does not actually feel as most women feel, for women who want to wear dresses and high heels generally experience those desires as unproblematically fulfillable.

Sometimes, however, transgender incongruence is expressed more radically. It’s not so much a feeling of being a man in a woman’s body or a feeling of being a woman in a man’s body, but, instead, it is a matter of being a man in a woman’s body or being a woman in a man’s body. But just what would it mean to be a man in a woman’s body or to be a woman in a man’s body? For this even to begin to make sense, there would have to be a radical distinction between a me (which would have to be capable of being a man or a woman) and my body. The relationship between these two entities would be contingent so that the real me is in this (male) body but could, conceivably, have been in another (female) body. Whatever else may be obscure about this position, one point should be obvious. Whatever the me is that is not my body, if it has the capacity to inform any living structure, including this or that male or female body, it cannot itself be either male or female. What would make it to be one or the other? That is why, in medieval angelology, angels, as purely spiritual beings, are usually considered to be neither male nor female.

David Tennant seemingly has no clue what critics of gender ideology are saying & actually opposing. So let’s make it clear:

• First of all, common sense is knowing that there are only two sexes, sex is immutable & plays many vital roles in society, from sexuality to safeguarding to rights to procreation.

• Next, no one is suggesting that people can’t live how they want to live. This is a nothing statement. There are, basically, 8 billion ways to live life. As many possibilities are there are humans. The issue is that one group of people has fallen for a lie and wants everyone else to live that lie to some extent as gender ideology is a direct attack on how everyone else lives, from speech to education to how society is structured to rights.

• Consenting adults can choose who they want to be in intimate relationships with, that fight has long been won. But gender ideology actually wants to undo that, telling lesbians that they must accept men who claim to be women as lesbians & gay men must accept women who claim to be men as gay men. Now, if being with a person who is lying about their sex is your type, fine. But for everyone else, they also need their rights. Rights to lesbian only spaces & events & rights to gay man only spaces & events, all based in reality. Heterosexual people claiming to be homosexual and then enforcing heterosexuality upon a homosexual group is not progress.

• Who is saying people can’t express themselves? Men can wear dresses & makeup if they want. Women can cut their hair short & do whatever they think men do. We’ve all got one life, live it in a way that makes sense to you. But understand: your expression does not change material reality, and is not a free pass to take away other people’s rights. Rights, rights, rights.

• Many people are hurt by the ideology David Tennant & the like are pushing. Women’s rights are abolished, LGB people’s rights are dismantled (while simultaneously getting the blame for this nonsense), children’s right to grow up with their body in tact is demolished, and then there is freedom of belief, speech & association which impacts everyone. Don’t believe me? Try not believing in gender ideology & see how much freedom of belief you have in the workplace. Try creating a female only space and see how many men demand access to it, with institutions like human rights commissions backing them. Try being a female athlete missing out on competition because a man decided he is a woman and used his biological physical advantage to destroy your dreams. Just try to imagine that there are more issues in life than how one “identifies”.

• Telling people to “butt out” is a clear indication that someone has never once considered how gender ideology plays out in society on a macro scale & why people would be against it, and that he doesn’t actually have empathy for people who are different to him while identifying as someone who does.

If you don’t understand what your critics are saying, don’t criticize them until you do. The end.
