Not born yet. Not even old enough to watch Empire Strikes Back until it was a second-run film at a drive-in theater in... 1984/5-ish. First movie I recall going to.
@wiseconnector Nothing wrong with it being taught in the schools, I don't think. Though I definitely think the primary teacher, here, ought to be in the home.

There were exceptions (had to read Frankenstein & Fahrenheit 451 in my Jr. or Sr. year for an elective, if I remember correctlyโฆ), but not usually.
& I loved reading back then, just not what I was told, "Read this or you're failing the class!"
Hatred.
Not tough love & speaking truth that hurts just as much to say, in some sense of the word, than it is to hear (once you try to do something about it, that is!), &some seem to want to claim is hate, but actual, truly viscous hatred.

If only due to the fact that I generally go out of my way to NOT watch it but somehow end up roped into it, one way or the other.
